i just want a option where i can start a match and have the option to talk to people on my side.
look at a lot of game consuls where you automaticly can talk to every one and if you don`t like some one you just mute him/her.
the way it is now its no good for me.

And I spend most of my gaming time perusing forums trying to improve my 10 FPS gaming experience.

Noobs, well they are noobs so probably have no heat sinks and a bunch of ppcs, so team work is the least of their concern.
Puggers pug, therefore they are puggers. If they didn't they would be something else.
If I am personally pugging it is because it takes a lot longer to play they damn game with a of bunch of other people. The waits between drops and such add up.

In game voice comms should not be limited to paying people. In game voice is pretty much in every single decent multiplayer game out there. The really good ones have both a channel to talk to everyone (the taunt them) and one to just talk to your team.
I'm not going to set up 3rd party software, then have to figure out where people are connected and all that.
Also, almost as soon as I am done a game, I am right back into a game. I don't want to wait for a group to launch. I'm a free to play player and need to get in as many games as I can as fast as I can to get as many CB as I can to make good use of my spare time.

I like the variety of both options and I really think you should let people play the game the way they enjoy and not make them feel like nubs, being all 'leet' about not having to play in pugs makes me suprised that anybody wants to team up with you at all.

This right here is the best answer. I never thought i'd say this, but Counterstrike had it right. In-game VOIP between team mates in a match.... simple, effective, and useful, no wasted time getting 3rd party and no wasted HDD space (not that space really matters anymore to most people).

As soon as I got a new computer I will join a likeminded group.

Maybe I just ain't feelin social.
The "view that only morons and fools (or those that don't know any better) don't use some form of voice communication" is off putting enough by itself.
If people not using it frustrates you, don't PUG.
Some people don't use voice comms. Get over it.
If i imagine some of the people talking to me that post here in this forums - no thanks.
I don't care who you are, what you think, and have no desire to listen to people whine.
I just don't want to associate with random people. No. Thats not irony.
Why should we? Let people play the way they wish and have fun doing so. Instead of trying to make people play your way.
Too much hate and rage, too little friendly behavior and good advices to be worth it.
I don't want to be internets buddy.
Personally, I'd like to play with people I know rather than strangers.
I have a low tolerance for politics, cliques, so called leaders, and all the other stuff that happens in groups.
"It amazes me how blown out of proporations some make this and people blame me for ragepolling" The whole tone of your poll is "if you're not on voip, you're doing it wrong". How did you expect *not* to get peoples backs up?
I chose "Nothing I will not participate and would rather not play" precisely because if, some how, it was choice between playing MWO with compulsory voip access and not playing MWO, then I simply wouldn't play MWO.
I do have to add that I disagree with this one most strongly, though - "I see premade groups as a form of cheating". WTF?

I am a lone wolf right now for a reason. I don't play WoW or many other games where I need a "guild" to play in. I don't have a headset that works right not, although I plan to get one.
I have played TT Battletech and Mechwarrior since the 90s. I know a bit about team strategy, and I happen to have much military experience. I know the capabilities and deficiencies of most Battletech related technology and Mechs, and of course allow the MWO balance mechanics to influence these pieces of information.
It is very frustrating being on a team that will not actively communicate. I attempt before EVERY MATCH to communicate and see what our team plan is. It has met with varying responses....from "dood we cant baby you along"...to "...frack off....." to "....stop being such a noob..."....mostly NEGATIVE responses.
Other times, mechwarriors respond with "i have tag" or "I have LRMS" or "hey, im going to scout and find targets".
More often than not, though, I am unimpressed with the lack of coordination or fools who think they can just walk their own way in an unsupported Atlas. Perhaps it would be better with C3, then I could attempt to help others drop AS A TEAM.
I have seen many operations where players do seem to act like a coheisve strategy is in place....but theres always a few that do their own thing and refuse to support their team members.
Several times I've called for assistance....mostly upon deaf ears....but other times mechwarriors have come to my aid and I applaud them.
Given the status of the BETA....It will get worked out and I believe the Devs will make it so that team play is easier to accomplish. As far as installing a third party app for C3....does not matter that much to me. AS LONG AS IT WORKS IN THE END.
But, I do tire of the immature players. Hopefully I ill find a group that I can work with....but I don't think that will happen until the game goes live.

I hope C3 will be used when it is integrated into the game. I know I will, I quite like voice coms. One does not even have to talk on them, just getting information is extremely valuable. As much as I commend the availability of TS provided by fans, the game really needs the seamless C3 integration and I am confident it is coming.

Playing without help from others teaches you how to play when there's noone left on your team but you.
Plus premades just don't get as much play-time.
