Again too much effort to then get them in our chat, just so we can play a game and have some fun,

Why don't they just create an options for those that don't give a damn about even and have it how it is now. Two picking modules, ones for pubbers and ones for houses and clans that want to fight, and those lone wolf that want to mix it up.

My night is suppose to be 3 hours of playing, not 4 hours of setting things up so a multiples four work.

This is what will happen, oh you got four in your group oh ok, I go off and play xcom. then later what happen to billy he said he did not get enough game time so he left MWO. That is reality.

I just want more gametypes than just Assault... there needs to be a "king of the hill" or something... especially on the Caustic Valley map.

On the date of Open Beta, your Premium Account timer WILL start ticking. Around Open Beta, a button will appear that will allow YOU the Founder’s account holder to decide when the timer starts to tick down. At the same time as this button appearing, your used Premium Account time will be reset to its full value. At that point, you can click the button to start your timer but you cannot stop it. It will be up to you to decide when the Premium Account starts to tick.

(Sentences bolded for emphasis.)

This statement is contradictory. It says that Premium time starts with Open Beta, but then says it only starts when we start the clock ourselves. Is there any clarification on this?

This makes me very sad actually. I've been waiting a very long time to play this game. I missed out on the closed beta. I actually took the day off of work tomorrow to start playing on the open beta and now they pushed it back to an, as far as I can tell, undetermined time in the future. This really blows for those of us who have had nothing to do with the game but troll the forums waiting patiently for the open beta.

Thank you for that. I will absolutely check this out when I get home from work tonight. Maybe tomorrow won't be a waste after all.

lag is mostly gone, looking good. I'm able to Pilot an Atlas again *Happy Dance*. Now please try to get the FPS improved. Some of us are sad cause we just bought a Computer to play just this game. Seriously My Laptop only has MechWarrior Online and supporting software added, and teh best I can get is 19 frames per second with average being 9-11FPS. I spent a lot of Money to play this free to play game! ;) ;) :D

Well, looks like I still have to wait until the Open Beta...again. Breaking out the battletech models and rolling some dice in the meantime.

Are there any further plans to expand the Founder's Program any further, in the wake of the Open Beta being delayed a bit longer?

I literally just got the money today. Sigh.

Well that sucks. Would really love to support this game, but I had to wait until payday, so I guess that's that.

I simply cannot state how satisfied that I am with the response! It is really REALLY nice to know that our questions and concerns are actually listened to and addressed, so thank you. My faith has been restored. I am again excited about open beta. Paul and your entire team deserve a round of applause. You guys rock.

So the problem is, besides 8 man teams, groups of 5 to 7. Hey, I'm with ya, it is daft to exclude these groups, as I am sure the only draw right now for some people is playing with a group of people they know.

Sarge came up with a better idea the other night, and it went something like this:
-group of 4 or less, you go to the random pool.
-group of 5 or more, you go to the vs other groups pool.
fill in the blanks with randoms - I would like to modify this, with randoms in NON trial mechs, even though some of them are deadly in the right hands, and a lot of custom loadouts (especially mine) are downright useless.

Given the choice, I would wager that any group of 5-7 would rather fill in with Joe Random and take their chances rather then not play together as a group at all.

Agree 100% with this, this is a much saner solution. I can see no reason why this shouldn't happen. Who would this hurt, exactly?

I play with an informal group of people with jobs and children, and we have tons of fun. The game loses much of its appeal when I'm soloing, so I rarely do that.

Groups of 8 vs Groups of 8 would be amazing if and when we have a steady group of 8 people at any given time. Most of the time we don't, people drop in, leave, come back, or (like tonight) 3 then 4 then 5 guys sign in early and want to play some matches together. 8v8 is great for competitive matches, but if we have 6 or 7 people that want to play together I see absolutely no reason why that should be disallowed. Fill us with pubs or whatever.

Groups of 8 can still get matched up, I don't see what excluding 5/8ths of the possible group configurations from playing together at all gets anybody?

If pubs need to get with a group to have fun (and they do), make it easy for pubs to form impromptu groups. Add voice chat in-game. Our group uses Mumble and it helps and adds to the experience immensely.

But that can come later. 8v8 is a great opt-in. But why on earth disallow different-sized groups not doing 8v8 from playing matches together?

The rest of the planned changes sound great.

Do you guys plan on ever redoing the mechlab and just making it part of the game instead of a windowed extension of it?

I prefer windowed, myself, but would like you guys to have the option for full screen.
A necessity, I am thinking. Perhaps a simple checkbox in the options that allows you to set full screen, all the time.

Lobby/challenge system PLEASE.

I've always hated matchmaking systems for group play anyway. Just provide a lobby/challenge/pre-match-setup system so that we can set up matches ourselves; it's been the right way to do organized team matches in MW for ages.

I play games with my real-life friends a lot, and 4-player coop games are already annoying enough since there are almost always 5 of us. One of us always has to sit out. "Finding more friends" is a sucky "solution" given that in these cases it's almost more of a social event than anything, and one person having to hunt down three other people online to play with isn't nearly as fun, nor is not being able to include that person in our group.

Certainly they can figure out a way to match groups of any size.

There are some really easy ways it could be done. For example:
For groups of (n < 4) players, they would be placed in matches randomly. multiple small groups could be placed on the same team so long as the other team balanced it out.
For any group of (n > 3) players, they will be placed in a match where the enemy team includes a group of (n +/- 1) players, and the remainder would be filled out with pugs. a group of 6 + 2 pugs, versus a group of 7 + 1 pug, would be perfectly valid here.
Prefer matching group counts. For example, 3+2+3p vs 3+2+3p would be preferred, but 3+2+3p vs 3+5p would be perfectly valid as well. 8 vs 8 would be preferred, but 7+1p vs 8 would still be valid.

I mean, are there really any problems with such a simple proposition? Does it really have to be so hard?
