Join?
I likely wouldn't join any clan if I were born in the Inner Sphere.
Perhaps taken as bondsman, if I manage to impress some Clanner who beats me, but not likely join anytime soon.
Although, being a Steiner, maybe I'd have a chance of being taken as bondsman by Clan Wolf. I'd like that, and with my surname, maybe I'd have a chance...

Clan Ghost Bear. They turn warden which I like because the soldiers purpose is to protect, not to destroy. They are less political than the Jade Falcons or the Wolves. They are more accepting of freebirths, they formed the First Rasalhague Bears Cluster out of FRR bondsmen. They designed the Kodiak, a 100 ton Assault mech for their second line, which is a beast.

Also, if saKhan Aletha Kabrinski is representative of their bloodlines, the scenery wouldn't be bad either.

I remember in Ghost Bear's Legacy intro movie.

"I'm approaching the reported radar signature"
"Nothing on scope Jag base"
"Anything on thermal Jag 12?"
"Neg base"
"Set waypoint home"
"Roger base, setting nav" "Wait. Base. Picking up heat sig. Can not get lock"

Pops out of the snow

"KODIAK MAN!!! KODIAK!!!

Get his face beat in.

What an awesome intro. Loved the Kodiak ever since.

The Not Named Clan escaped and one day shall return to finish the Trial of Annhillation. Long live the Wolverines!!!

by destroying clan wolverine, the clans renounced any rights they had to calling themselves the descendants of the Star League, the entire existence of a eugenics based, autocratic, war mongering culture would be an affront to any Cameron, or Eridani Light Horseman. I will see you stravags and trashborn on the fields of Luthien, Wolcott, Twycross, and of course Tukkayyid where your hubris shall be laid bare. (:))

So, now let's see what we can field:

Clan Wolf: 1 full Cluster or atleast 15 stars
Clan Ghost Bear: 1 cluster with atleast 11 stars
Clan Jade Falcon: 1 cluster with nearly 9 stars
Clan Smoke Jaguar: 2 trinaries at least
Clan Nova Cat: 1 binary exactly
Clan Steel Viper: Nearly 1 star

We could build a Galaxy if we banded together.

That's kind of hot.

the Clan Ghostbear for the win!!!!

but there is another faction I like , I wonder if it will be playable, the mercenaries Wolf's Dragoon (mostly freeborn clan members), they have been gathering data that would serve the clans invasion for decades before it started. and sported the most exotic weaponry in the inner sphere until the clans showed up.

Has to be the wolves. The clan that bears the blood name of Kerensky and the only clan to have any real success at the battle of Tukayyid. The wardens know the true way.

Our unit always ran as a Merc unit, but of the clans, if we had to pick, I think it would be Wolverine. One for obvious reasons (See name below) and the other being they were the one clan that wanted true independence and democracy in the clans, but were the vocal minority on that, and got squashed because Kerensky saw an opportunity to unite the clans under him with them as a scapegoat.
