If I was Clan I'd take Dire Wolf A. Custom Mechs are also welcome. Also the Naga sounds cool:

Quote

Following the success of the design at the Battle of Tukayyid, the Naga has spread from Clan Wolf to a handful of other Clans, interested in capitalizing on its utility. This fast assault 'Mech mounts a meager nine tons of armor, but tactical doctrine keeps it far from the front lines. The Naga is often derided because it rarely allows for the glory that comes from an individual kill.[3][4]

This is probably the most vanilla response ever but I still think perfection is a Timber Wolf Prime. I even like the machine guns on this build in the context of MWO because it has enough punch that they don't feel wasted when it comes time to fish for crits.

Stone Rhino

I'd commend your choice but the Stone Rhino wasn't produced yet. I think it came out in 306x?

Stone Rhino was designed Pre-Exodus. Amaris just never got it working. Smoke Jaguar had some in their touman during Operation Revival. never seen in other toumans by IS forces, but sarna suggests that there would be Rhinos there.

Edit: A Stone Rhino that was owned by Gordon Zed of the Dragoons died on Misery. therefore it had to be available prior to 3005.

The Jade Falcons had at least one at some point! ha.. http://www.sarna.net...Stone_Rhino.jpg

IMO Was probably produced around the same time as the Nova (2870) both being rare, from the same factory and scattered through out the clan toumans while not being in production.

And can anyone seriously suggest that the Fafnir was not a rip off of the Stone Rhino? just has bigger Gauss Rifles.

my choice of 'mech' back when 3056 held a HUGE Tukkyaid Scenario was a lance of 2 SRM Carriers and 2 Ontos. We'd hide out of line of sight and wait for something big. Best moment:

Last day of the scene. Comstar is literally out of mechs. Not one mech left in their stable. Only a few clan mechs have survived as well. Undamaged, undaunted, a single Masakari-C parks itself outside one of the comstar bases, blasting at its 1000 points of defenses. We all pop out at one time. Ontos, SRM carrier, srm carrier, ontos, he wastes the first tank, which blows up. Then the SRM carriers and one remaining Ontos open up. 8 medium lasers, 2 LRM-5, and 30 SRM-6 fire at him (yes, that's 180 srms! Macross Missile Massacre!). Of the 180, I think about 110 actually hit. We almost completely sanded his armor off, knocked out his gyro and I think knocked him unconscious in a single ungodly salvo, just in time to save the day as time ran out on the scene, and we held. 3 bases held to 2 bases captured, with only 20 Hit points left on that one base.

so my mech for Tukkayid: the lowly SRM carrier.

http://www.sarna.net...Rhino_(Behemoth)

"The Stone Rhino was one of the most remarkable surprises sprung upon the Inner Sphere by the invading Clans. Since the Inner Sphere forces knew about the Amaris Behemoth that was the name they gave to the 'Mech."

Seeing as the "Clan Invasion" period pretty much ended after Tukayyid, I assume that the above quote means that the Stone Rhino was already available by then and that this refers to the early on during the invasion :P

http://www.sarna.net...i/Clan_Invasion

Also, I'd also say Timber Wolf. I'd actually prefer a Mad Cat II, but that's not until 3060... TT__TT
