This morning I asked my wife "Guess what?" and she replied "You got jump jets?" so I think the Timber Wolf Pryde is the obvous choice for me.

Ryoken II , is that in the right period?

I'm afraid not Captain Grunge. That is late/post J-I-H-A-D era, looking at 25-35 years after Tukkayid.
But there are plenty of awesome Stormcrow chassis available.

*Really PGI? You have one of the classic battletech timeline names blocked?

Ever tried to hit a Spider jumping 210m each turn? It makes your opponents throw their dice at you.

Warhammer here...
Secondly, anything built by Johnston Industries - absolutely an Axeman rewound with TSM, if it was available.

King Crab - Clanbuster

KGC-001 – One of the so-called "Clanbuster" variants developed in the lead-up to the Battle of Tukayyid, ComStar's techs replaced the twin autocannons with two M-7 Gauss Rifles, trading a minor reduction in destructive capacity for greatly increased range. Also, the Large Laser was upgraded to a Tronel XIII Large Pulse Laser and two Hovertec Streak SRM-2s with a single ton of reloads were added. These changes were accomplished by using an extralight engine in place of the standard model.

Thor D, modified with a SSRM-2 in place of the MGs. Highly accurate, and not dependant on ammunition.

If Clan, Timberwolf A, the twin ppcs for long range and no ammo reliance in the mech aside from the Streak 6 pack which if your firing that then you have a definate hit. 3 Med Pulses and 1 er small as your short range firepower for cooling off after you do your one alpha when have the sweet shot.

If InferiorSphere...Maruader MAD-5S seeing as this is a correct year mech but not really a Comstar Mech. I would just use it to hit from range and get the heck out of there, Gauss and 2 Er ppcs nice punch from range...nothing in the ComStar Arsenal Stands out shame this mech would not have been with them.

For a ComStar mech though be Thug THG-11E, decent punch at any range, standard engine so have extra survival

Especially if nearly everyone chooses the heaviest mechs aviable.

But if a Daishi, Fafnir, Stone Rhino is too small, try these:

I stand by my lance of hidden SRM carriers. They will destroy two clans mechs in their first salvo. the tricky part with SRM carriers is livig to take a second shot, however. But, you know, you can have dozens of SRM carriers for the cost of a clan battlemech. And replacements are a lot closer at hand than the 2000 light years it is to the Clans' factories in 3052.

This is also WHY the clans lost the battle. Lack of logistical planning.

I'll keep my Hawk Moth, thanks. But if im forced to pilot a mech, probrobly an Enforcer. I do love me an enforcer.

And if you twisted my arm and made me pick a clan mech i would have to go with a Kit Fox(Uller)
