Adding in a little real world influence, a 10kg scuba tank will get you about 30 minutes of oxygen. 250kg should keep you going for half a day, assuming you don't have CO2 scrubbers.

Dal kinda said it

Reality and logic are optional in the BT universe. I know that a 10kg tank gives you roundabout 30 mins from diving, but hell, this is bt :D Where you can´t fire more than 2 guided missiles at once ! :D

to be fair, computer tech is rare in BT.

I kinda like it. One of the densest fictional texts i´ve read so far, also it´s pretty reasonable and quite logic

I just got hit by a massive dislike of the main character a quarter way through the first book. so I just stopped reading it.

Mh, i kinda liked the setting. Dunno, i´m normally a high tech or low fantasy person, but the mix of medieval society and modern tech was cool

I can make one in like an hour or 2. Only unusual piece of equipment is the elephant gun.

I'm a techy with a bunch of tools, so realistically a list of what I have is limited to how much technobabble I can make up......

Question - since the environment is Nitrogen/Hydrogen - I'm going to assume that standard slug thrower weapons/rifles would be inoperable? Due to the lack of Oxygen?
