Well done for errrrrrrrm..... Being Canadian!

Ok, limited praise over.... all those people I see reading this thread and not saying hi.... come in, tell us what you specialise in, what you are looking for and provide references (or just tell us how great you are .... we will probably believe you!).... and we will show you where to sign up

Don't worry, there is no small print

ok I lied, there is..... but it is only basically to say you will be responsible tor looking after your own mechs and a smelly cockpit is frowned upon! We considered taking your first born, but decided that at the temperatures those cockpits get to, 'any' born is kind of unlikely!!!

What?! Don't praise me for my nationality! Praise me for looking up our clan's place on an internet forum for a Mech Warrior game while making an elitist comment that we were arbitrarily #1 on page 1 on said internet forum for said Mech Warrior game.

DUH! It's like you didn't want to praise me at all!

YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND ME, YOU AREN'T MY REAL DAD! *slams bedroom door shut*

and scene. Wasn't that...uhh....disturbing?

I flew the colours of the Blazing Aces many moons ago... though I think I may have still been using Inferno as my call sign when I did and I think it was for Mechwarrior 3 but I can't remember for certain. If this is the same group as before, some may remember me (or may not as I can barely remember anyone from then as it was at least 10 years ago now I think)

I'm pretty sure we were founded for either NBT-4 or NBT-M (Morson would know), so I don't think the MW3 Blazing Aces would have been us. Nevertheless, you're welcome to apply if you're interested in joining!

I may be interested but not quite yet... I used to play in the NBT league with the Kell Hounds... mostly Mech 2 Mercs but thats even longer ago.

I believe the unit was formed between the switch from NBT4 to NBT-Mercs with the remnants of the Free World League/Knights of the Inner Sphere. I recall fighting pre-league battles with the Aces for NBT-M. The unit as a whole was formed a few years before that in either late 2000 or early 2001.

I think I'm partially to blame for that. However put me on TS and I won't say a word. I'm weird like that.

Well that's good, if someone's going to keep bumping the thread, it may as well be you. If the leadership is constantly doing it it just looks kind of desperate and weird, but if members are doing it then we can just put the blame on them for being unprofessional while still enjoying the benefits of being on page 1. It's an ideal situation.

Anyway, small update: Morson's making good progress on the website graphics, so hopefully we won't have to wait too much longer on that. We definitely want to get it up ASAP to use as a recruiting tool.

Love the new sig Jace, and if you're giving me the green light to keep doing what I'm doing, well maybe I'll just keep on doing it.

As long as your posts contain a minimal amount of something that could be described as content, I think you're good to go.

I'm not sure whether that's a compliment, or a thinly veiled insult.

You sir have irked my ire!

How was that? Just enough substance to be considered content? Well, you know what, why don't we leave it to our listeners, so folks the lines are open, that number is 555-3929 we'd love to hear from you and get your thoughts and if you're just joining us the topic today is how little substance do you need to be considered content. Our lines are open, yes first caller, you're on the air...

Traded my Pony for a bottle of "Jack" and a plywood duckboat. I used the bottle and sunk the boat, I miss my Pony.

Hi guys. Unfortunately, I have no experience whatsoever with MechWar, always wanted to try it, never got around to actually do it. Closest I got was Mech Commander 2 )
I would like a spot in your corp, if possible. I think I'd enjoy a spot in the Heart Division.

Sounds good BTrayaL. We have a lot of veteran pilots including myself who are happy to train new pilots.

Well I have hardly any substance at all, but I am reasonably happy.... does that count?

BTrayl.... little to no experience = 0 bad habits for us to train out of you.... sounds kinda perfect to me!

Well having looked through all 11 pages to this point i'd like to put in an app to join the fun. I'm a Brit so hope to bolster the EU posse :P

A little about your experience with MechWarrior and BattleTech, or team games in general - in particular League play

I joined the BT universe with MW2:Mercs on the PC when I was a kid and got hooked. MW3 MW4 (including expansions / mercs) and even the mech commander games were all great fun. I did play a little of MW4 online but never leagued or anything.
I've been a part of guilds on various mmo's i've played in the past including the evil wow but also eq2 and a few others.

Why you're interested in the Aces

I like the idea of playing as a merc, in it for the payday forget the politics. I also like a group that is structured and well organised with clear lines of communication on the field. Confusion is a big killer
What division you are interested in

I tend to prefer heavy's or assaults and being able to engage at all ranges which would put me in the hearts division. I currently have my eye on the Stalker of the currently released mechs but would love it if they gave us the mauler. I also have the legendary pack so i'll have something in the bay for any occasion
