I've found how to view my stats for the beta here on the website (I wish this could be done in game) but I am curious as to whether or not I can look at the stats of other players here on the website? If so, mind letting me in on the secret?

Well that's a let down. I've managed to eke out a .500 k/d ratio with only the Commando variant that the game provides. It would be higher, I maintain, if I either had jump jets or the matchmaker would stop putting me in river city so often, but for a n00b I'm thinking that's pretty good. Awesome if this were baseball.

Guess I don't have to worry about it so much if no one else can see it, though that also means no bragging rights later on

You still can. What we don't want to see are people comparing e-peens constantly.

It's not implemented but I predict they will. Everyone will eventually get some sort of elo score and they will probably make your score public info.

Every game does.

depends on the stats to be viewable really

I dont care if someone sees my lowly K/D or win/loss because it doesnt mean anything to me.

BUT it is MY business how much MC I have or have bought, not yours.

As to the stats, i wish there was a better breakdown - K/D and W/L PER MECH used as well as the over all. Types of weapons that provided the DAMAGE done and Kill Shot, Hit percentage by weapons used breakdown... More useful stuff so I can determine my weak spots and work to improve them.

Having a K/D of .40 does not tell me if I was playing Solo or Grouped or if I was playing other Lone Wolves or Groups. What maps and so much other data that may one day be available to us. Right now, more important things to focus on.

with luck, you will never be able to. stats are for griefing and shaming only. i have yet to see a good use of stats in a public format. your welcome to try to convince me, but i cant see any reason for it.

Pretty much. Stats serve a minimal function for those that like to keep track of things for themselves - there's no reason to make them public. Any thread on here that people disagreed with would instantly devolve into trolling the OPs stats. Same thing you see on the WoW forum with people insulting eachothers Gear/Pvp stats/achievements.

I would say with a 0.500 K/D you're doing pretty good bud. Keep up the good work! If you can handle the River City map then all the other ones will be cake :D. Hang in there!

You can't, which is why when I say I'm the greatest player who ever lived, you're just going to have to take my word for it :D

I do second this statement, but I would like to point out that this may not be a bad thing. It could allow for ranked solo matchmaking so pilots who want to face others of their rank could do so. It may also alleviate some of the complaints of new people getting screwed over by experienced pilots. That way new people could play together and move up as they learn.

You shouldn't be able to see my stats. This leads to a name and shame concept that the devs are adamantly against. If you want to show off your stats all you have to do is take a screenshot of them.

You can't... although it seems like they messed them up and now includes all the 0 XP players in trial mechs earned, screwing up some of the stats. *sigh*

I can assure you I did not make 71.10 Avg. XP Per Match yesterday.

It would be nice if they broke down stats further to K/D per variant and W/L per varaint. Damage done, assists, and total games played per variant would be great as well.
