The game is somewhat broken and unbalanced lot of nerfing in certain areas is needed.

I under stand the resets but for quite awile we had to work to buy our mechs. Now I come in and there is a zero ballance. There has to be some way for all of us busting our mechs humps to make ends meet. Do you know how long it take to earn up enought to purchase a Awsom. No I am back to scratching 60 -100k at a time that I feel was kind of a low blow.....OK its testing whipe out our mechs but come on give us some kind of % to get back to some kind of ability to own and load out mechs. Load outs and trying diferent configurats is one of my favorate parts.

Almost every game has a wipe going from closed beta to open beta.
The thing with games like this is that open beta is pretty much launch, so you need to start everyone off from scratch.

Let me get this straight, using actual tactics and teamwork is ruining the game? That makes zero sense. What you meant to say was give clans a lobby so we don't have to drop round after round against pugs. It's a waste of the pugs time, and the clans ammunition.

I hate to say this but nerfing is not the answer to an organized team.. all it does is unbalance the game in a different direction.
So tired of hearing screams about "They have to many missles.. nerf missles... Ohhhh the Gauss Rifle is to powerful.. NERF it!"
Tactics and organized play can take out BOTH advantages
Just my opinion.. I've seen to many games KILLED by whiners getting anything that appears to powerful because they cant figure out how to beat it NERFED!

This game is NOT broken! It takes team work and tactics to win. if you go off by your self across the middle of the map I guarantee that 95% of the time you will get destroyed. stick with your team and you wont die.

Like the game enough you want a specific Mech (i.e. the Awesome) huh..??

We know that MWO may be free to play, but it isn't free to produce, free to support or running on free servers with free electricity.

So if its a little painful to grind for a specific mech, and you like the game enough to know you want it.. then may I recommend dropping some money to buy MC ?

It's like $15 to get a Mech like an Awesome. Less for the smaller mechs.

If they made it easy for you to get the mech you wanted NO ONE would buy anything.. and in the end the game would die due to lack of funding.

the game is broken when a Jenner can come up behind you and hit you twice with 6 small lasers and core you with full armor and you hit them with everything you got and do 5% damage. Cant knock them down they can carry all the upgrades which means more speed more weapons and no leg damage. Also 2 shot crits from over 500 meters by a single ballistic so yes its somewhat broke.

If you don't understand what i meant, why post? Matchmaker changes are already scheduled, and i was going on about them not being put in at open beta.
And really you need tactics to pugstomp? Teamwork sure...but tactics? So 8 man ninja cap is a tactic? Seems more like cheese you would ONLY try against a PUG.
Attack me all you want, i'm not getting down on teams . When CW comes around MY team will be on the map. I'm saying matchmaker needs immediate improvement to help with new player retention. And you are right about the Lobby. A working chat lobby is #2 on my list of things wrong, right behind matchmaker.

They won't sell us founders, even if we want them. Might want to grab the clue bat and tap it on your head a few times.

Hey, I like a good challenge as much as the next person but there comes a point in time when "always" getting stomped (or always losing) despite one's best efforts, becomes ridiculous. But let's face it, in the end, it will come down to "brutal versus dollars!" If brutal is causing new players to move on to other pastures, it nets very little in the way of "dollars". So what do you think a company will do? Seriously, those who do complain, whether you like it or not, have legitimate reasons for doing so. It is, after all, a free country. Oh, just in case you're wondering, yes, I am skilled and I have lead the leader board numerous times. Just f.y.i....!!

Bhahaha. Seriously your best comeback is to quote me? "Should have gotten it earlier." Yeah, there was no getting it earlier, because I joined AFTER it was already over. Do you argue on the internet much or just when you feel the need to embarrass yourself?

If it was still offered, I'd still buy it. I suspect that once the game is fully functional, they will have programs similar to League of Legends where you buy mech packs which would be the reason for the 'store' button in the interface.

Its November the 5th (remember, remember) and it feels like the number of puggers in game is increasing. On the 29th after Open Beta dropped it really felt like 2/3 of my games were Vs premades. Now it only feels like 1/2 my games are Vs large groups on comms. Still seeing the 8man ninja caps, but people are wising up and not committing as early, seems like more of these are defended.
The 8 man groups that are going for elimination...are just brutal. It is in no way fair play. One jenner on your cap as a distraction while the rest of the group engages is extremely effective against PUGs, it's ridiculous. Iv'e seen groups actually using lance tactics(one lance does one role, the other lance another role) and wiping the floor with even other groups that are not using lance tactics.

Point is these large groups still have no business being in MM queue with PUGs. I'm still hoping for the MM overhaul to start tomorrow, please make it so Devs!
