Oh! I thought you meant the accent. Yeah that one I was worried about, I wasn't sure if I was phrasing it right. I just meant Jack's expecting a bit of banter and bravado, and a few sly remarks about cheating the bookies, that kind of thing.

No problems. I've chucked up Bertie's reply, I'll let you or Thom take it from here.

Heh. Six year old banter. You got tole.

Fully expecting the next time Bertie sees his daughter, she's getting taught the ins and outs of match-fixing by Mad Jack. In fact, if you wanna write that, go for it. She's not too intimidated by strangers (she's been travelling with mercs most of his life til now) and shows an unhealthy interest in 'Mechs.

As my friends in real life will tell you, there are two things that telling me I'm allowed to do that are very dangerous: Telling me I'm allowed to get them as drunk as I want when they're paying and that I'm allowed to corrupt someone.
You may come to regret this, in time :)
Depends on what I end up doing with Jack - but it'll take a couple of days IC before he'll be willing to begin to take Heather under his wing.

Tossing tires for a living, must have grabbed one wrong, felt my should come out a bit, and figured I would finish the stack of Super Singles, and then, all the ribs on my right side of my 'cage went out, that really friggin hurt. Shoulder not so much as the damn ribs. Anyhow, how was the post?

I didn't think the post was too bad Thom - though you missed out Jack singing 'Party pooper' at Heather. Figured acting childish (and enjoying doing so) would get Jack and Heather on speaking terms a lot faster.

Not a bad post Guardian - just a quick grammar check, I think you missed a word "If you have any, ANY, you come ask me." Think you meant to say questions ^_^
Also, I was reading about the Wolves, Clan and Dragoons, last night trying to figure out why everyone loves them so much and noticed something - the first mention Sarna has of the Kommando having mechwarriors is just before the Jihad. Before that, it was all infantry - unsure if the clans use conventional infantry or all elementals, but the small storytime sections seemed to indicate it was bog standard 'umies. Not sure how that affects your characters.
As for the ribs and shoulder, ouch! Docs get you patched up okay?

Quick note, why does everyone seem to be out to kill their opponents in these Solaris Fights? In any and all of the official arenas, doing so is illegal - if a board of inquiry rules it was intentional, the pilot can have everything confiscated and given a full sentence.

You know, I didn't play the vid. I just thought you posted it for the Hell of it like Mr. Azman would do. But now that you pointed it out I'm thinking I should edit my post.

The Clans do have regular infantry, but not lots of it. It's usually Shaloma (or however the Hell you spell it) warriors armed with the basic weapons sent out in suicidal charges. Ah.... How very Capellan of them. :D

And good thing to mention about outright killing your opponents. These fights are not to the death. A pilot always has the option of backing out. But there are most likely cases of two warriors with an axe to grind wanting to fight to the death. I imagine that the SBC would love the ratings for such a fight.

I wouldn't have chucked in the extra post just for the vid xD
I will most likely stick a vid or two in at random with songs like the Legend That Is Nor Azman would do, but unless I note it's a song, it'll probably be along the lines of 'An interaction based on this video takes place'.
In that case, Jack does his best to mimic Super Kami Guru's voice as he sings Party Pooper.
And for those of you who haven't seen it, watch Team Four Star's Dragonball Z Abridged here: http://www.TeamFourStar.com
I guarantee you will not have laughed out loud that hard at something on the internet for some time.
Beware some of the language though, some swearing involved, getting more frequent throughout the series.

Ahh yepp, was looking to see where questions, or I think I was thinking concerns. Also, Kommando had the ability to requisition mechs, and have pilots ready when the time was called on them. Usually for big, high priority targets, that we absolutely could not fail on, or we are ******. As for assorted injuries, yeah, chiropractor popped everything back in place, give a day to heal. Also, I did not bring that one on, bad rolls meant that the pilot I was against was out for blood, must of been same stable or friends to Dylan's first. Plan on granting him Hegira, as it will be one hell of a fight, and the Flamer, will make it AWESOME!!

Dylan's in the Rainbow Stables - the first fight ever for that stable is this afternoon. I get that you roll a lot of your stuff, but you should work on toning the options to something a little more realistic - your rolls tend to edge to the extremes I've noticed. I remember you once talking about how you had nearly conjured an Atlas for example...

Hey man, middle of the rolls, middle of the road, ****** roll, ****** luck, TEH OMG ROLL = UBER FRIGGIN PWNAGE!!!! Okay, little guy inside is satisfied. But seriously, I had to get 4-8 for him to be okayish, 2-3 to be pissy, 1 to be pyschotic, and 9-12 for him to either extremely honorable, or a drunk (Would have been decided in the next roll).
I friggin rolled a one, twice when I double checked it. FML my luck is not that good as it was. This is just like what would happen at a friends house, we would rolled to see what difficulty we would play against on a game, he would roll easy, I would roll Expert, and since the computer hated me, it bumped it up to insane, which was not even a difficulty.
