Hey GW, just to be clear, Draco isnt involved in this RP, just refrenced by the character you're playing (Dylan?)

Actually Draco and Phiro are 16 right now, as I wanted to RP them sometime in their teen years. So, technically, I am not RPing their actions, though, I will be guiding what their actions are.

Well, there's a good chance they wont remember Rick as he's just another 'tech', and he probably wont remember Draco due to having to deal with kids riding in his mech so much they all just kinda look the same and he pushes that cursed memory away as often as he can lol. Just wanted to double-check to not have any discrempancies between RPs

Off traveling/drinking this weekend, so I may have some trouble posting. Though I will do my best to do so if I can.

Apologies in advance.

*stretches chin* Because of her past, character Christina has become...private on certain things, but that doesnt mean she doesnt do private dances...

Ah, it posted. I just got put in time out too....

Anybody know how long you can be idle before the site times out?

Not sure on how long it takes for the site to time out, but, when you log in, if you select the "Keep me logged in button", you will not be logged out unless you close the browser, put your computer to sleep/hibernate, or close the tab its on. Try that next time you log in. :)

Keep up the good work everybody!

Does anybody know a place to test drive a Flea, or, I don't know, just walk around and stuff, not like I can just do laps around the airfield, people would get pissed.

I'm sure there's a proving ground somewhere close by.. *thinks hard* A flat expanse of open ground stretches out of the South of the huge mech depot and southwest of the Spaceport. It was originally leveled off to act as extra room for dropships, but quickly became an area where mechwarriors and their techs would work out the bugs in their mechs.

;)

Oh and in case anybody didn't know, or read 'Illusions of Victory,' there are tunnels linking all the different (main) arenas underground So you'll never have to have your Vindicator or whatever wait at a traffic light...

Guardian, if you don't mind the suggestion, you should probably stick a bit more time into RPing Dylan than Phiro and Draco. I know you're trying to show a bit of their childhood and so on, but most of your posts so far have been all about the pair of them, rather than Dylan (And hence furthering the plot and allowing us to interact with you ;)). Besides, after growing up with the Wolf's Dragoons all their lives, don't you think they've already been getting trained for their chosen jobs all their lives in their sibko, the way the Dragoons do it? They probably already have a half decent handle on hand to hand, but sending them to off to one of the elementals for 'advanced classes' probably wouldn't hurt (Other than physically) and would probably help them get so many of the assignments that you've RPed in the other threads.

Well I rolled strip Club, which is odd, as I don't think they have those in the Clans, which means that this is Dylan's first time to one.

You want to put a timestamp on when you're there? Keeping in mind to avoid the time around a few minutes after 2200 (Say 2200-2215) on the 4th 'cos Jack's causing a scene and you didn't describe it, so obviously, you could not have been present ;)

That was my plan. (Okay who am I kidding, I pulled that out of my a$$.)) I'm even in the same section of the depot, well it's more of a warehouse than a depot.. That and I'm sure you'll hear about some mechwarrior beating the tar out of some abusive a-hole tech. Heck it could (should be) one of the guys that has been giving 'Mop-Boy' problems.

Also, for the next week in game (maybe two weeks) De'Markus/Kaylee will be working on Ole' One-Eye... that mech is a POS. You'll find out how bad in my next post.

Pretty sure that they'd be involved in sibko life as well. Remember, Phelan Kell/Wolf/Ward/Kell/Whatever he's going by now had heard the word sibko when he was growing up.... I imagine he was only involved with the Cubscouts-from-Hell while he was on Outreach though...

Also GW I applaud you on doing a better job of focusing on Dylan, but he still seems like he's a background character. I must ask, have you ever RPed him before or is he developing as you play him?

From experience I know that characters sometimes just start as a name and some stats jotted down on a piece of paper. And after a few gaming sections they seem to develop quirks and personality.

Preaching to the choir on that last. In the Dark Heresy RP we've been running for about 2 and a half years now, my techpriest managed to acquire a pair of gun servitors - THX-1138 and EDI-16401 (Eddy). THX-1138 was immediately blown into spare parts, but Eddy has kept on trooping.
Over a year and a half later, he's been bulked up (His soak rivals the average LAV), his heavy bolter is twin linked, he has slain foes ranging from homeless bums with knives up to party level encounters by himself. With a gun that could not penetrate it, he achieved an immobility kill and disarmed a Rhino APC in a single volley. Actually, he has a tendency to one shot a lot of things. In fact, he has actually been given a fate point (Meaning the God-Emperor of Mankind has taken a personal interest in his survival) with all rights that that entails (Such as the ability to 'Righteous Fury' - if a 10 is rolled on any damage dice, continue to roll that dice until you stop getting tens. Add that to the damage caused). We even managed to get him a personal forcefield generator. Threatening to kill Eddy has proved to not just be the rage button for Tod (My Techpriest) but the whole damn party.
Honestly, we barely blink when a character gets dropped, but when Eddy gets in trouble the tension gets turned up to 11.

*Ahem*
Probably the most extreme example we've had so far, but most of the party has developed some fairly amusing quirks as well. But possibly even more than Eddy, one NPC has risen above all the rest. Phrix, our beloved friend who was plot killed in the first adventure we ever ran, before she could ever speak. She only appeared as a slaughtered corpse.
Actually, I say 'our' friend, in fact, only one original character who knew her is currently playing (My arbite having been swapped out for my techpriest, and the other character's player left), yet somehow the whole party knows of her and all about her.
She has in fact broken the fourth wall. She is our Chuck Norris.
EDIT: While standing on Hoth Mara: "I'm so cold. This planet is freezing!"
"Phrix would have been warm."

I've realised something from Thom's post about Solaris weather.

Y'know how the city is all neon lights and casinos? Glammed up and tawdry? Coupled with weather that we in the North of England would find comforting, because it gives us all common ground for complaining? Ladies and Gentlemen... I've come to a conclusion:

Solaris is Blackpool.
