I just wanted to say Thank You. It's what I was discussing when I was posting my innitial responce, and because it took me a while to finish writing, you beat me to the punch while proving my point. I couldn't be prouder of Rick as a character, and I hope by the end of it all he will have made the readers as proud in him.

Still trying to get the ****** to shoot straight... ehh, we'll get it sometime Mac, hopefully before the Falcons get to Barcelona. As for you Thom, I put it down as a way to meet with DeMarkus, not to kill you per se. And Rogue, now that I think about it, she'll probably go for you last, whenever that is.

Hey Jeremy, wouldnt it be a bit of a kick if it turns out S.C.R.A.P. Maker, the Archer Rick uses is the restored husk of Izzy's Father's Archer?

I said it was headed for the scrapheap, I never said it wasn't salvage from another unit :P

I'm game :D

Just remember, Izzy can and will become violent.

As an interesting spin on this, I could see her being almost a little creepy-stalkerish to Dylan. "Pick me! PICK ME!"

nice conflict for Bertie trying to keep his daughter safe.

She's quiet, but that'a be funny.

As for the bold...Izzy does bat for both teams  Keep thy daughter away from her. If it is a living human, it's free game B)

So how do I get in on that? Rick singing baritone!

I truthfully hope he never fully does until after he is taken in by Jade Falcons. There are alot of personal story options that arrise for it, but I really wanted to see how Draco would grow when he's gotta deal with someone who is beyond green, and infact is probably a little moldy on the side.

That's great! I dont think I mind Rick being in a violent situation, makes for great internal conflict. Just promise me that I get the Archer by the end of the story arc if you get it as it's kindof a running gag in alot of my RPs and Stories that explain his history, and it's a fairly detailed bit of history that jumps from the fourth succession war and somehow survives after Operation Serpant and Bulldog, so understand Rick is a survivor, and a nice guy :P

That, and I cant promise what Liz and DeMarkus (Or Kaylee for that matter) would do to you if Rick ended up dead in a ditch somewhere.

Ouch, don't bring him in, as Chris is dead, and since he is dead, he will not be able to stop Barret.

I haven't made a suitable counter-character yet.

You win this one, sir.

I'm a Rick fanboy Derek. It's always great to see freebirth scum beat on vat-brat, testtube babied, trueborns. I bet with pulselasers and aided by a targeting computer even Rick will be able to shoot straight...

That's a fair point. Keeping those of us with a faster posting schedule together is a good plan. I'm up for grouping with Jack and D - their rougher lifestyle will offer some nice conflict for Bertie trying to keep his daughter safe.

I'm up for it just for the RP aspect alone. Baby Thom is on Warlock with his mother and DeMarkus has yet to meet him. Having Heather around may make D start saving up $ for Thom's enrollment at NAMA, and could explain how Thom ends up with 'Swampthing.'

So you sticking with this chick being ISF? I think it's gonna be great having ISF, The MASK, and LOKI trying to kill Markus... Looks like a trip to the periphery is in order...

Touche on that. I don't aim for Mary Sue, and not everlasting youth, per say. Only looks. Her body ages (she'll die due to old age), just her looks don't change. Didn't mean to put forth the Everlasting Youth thing.

And, well, I don't see many failed clones really.

And I did say it wouldn't be that much to change it, tbh. I wrote after a few hours on sarna at 11:01 PM, which, at the current time, felt like 1:01 AM :s

Just need to pull up the word doc and start the changes.

EDIT:

Name: Isabella “Izzy” Hunter (Real Last name: Ward – The Clan Wolf Bloodname*)
Callsign: Princess
Date of Birth/Age: 20; December 13th, 3011
Current Mech: Sentienl named Midnight Roar
House Affiliation: Un-Affiliated, trying to prove herself before signing up for the Wolf’s Dragoons
Military History: One Year of live-fire combat; While not the best pilot, she still is capable, especially in terrain she can use to her advantage.

Physical Description:
5’11, shoulder blade length blonde hair, green eyes. Lithe body, very athletic. She has a long, jagged scar on her back, reaching from the top of her right shoulder blade and ending at the left side of her waist. Usually wears jeans, a button-up shirt, and a black leather jacket.

Personality:
Distant and quiet, almost cold. Izzy was once a bright, happy girl, only slightly distant, but her father’s death and the revelation from her mother caused her to grow even farther from people. She doesn’t open herself to just anyone, and it takes a lot to get her to even speak at length. Izzy has a violent side to her; she becomes dangerous, severely hurting anyone in the immediate area before she calms down.
She becomes particularly violent when someone attempts to take her locket.

Notable Equipment:
Five stiletto knives – two up either sleeve, two on her shoulders, and one last one on her thigh
Locket – Picture of Sora Hikari inside

Open Background:
Born on Cylene, in the capital of Haclyon to a lumberjack father and an ex-Mechwarrior Mercenary mother turned businesswoman. Izzy went to a private school her entire life, graduating and attending the University of Halcyon. Izzy was an intelligent student, but always a bit distant, especially from her classmates She graduated with top honors in 3027, but dropped out of school life at 19 due to news of her father’s death in an accident involving an Industrial Mech and a rockslide. Izzy disappeared from Cylene after what was reported as a violent argument with her mother. Izzy then stole most of her family’s savings and fled.

Has come to Solaris to try and bring in more cash, as the money she stole from her mother lasted only six months, causing her to sell her guns (for god pay) to make it buy. This also included a stint as a dancer on Galatea.

Deep Background:
Izzy is the daughter of a pair of Wolf’s Dragoons Zeta Battalion MechWarriors. The scar came from her second week on Outreach, where she got in a fight with some Mechwarriors at the space port. One of the Warriors had a knife, which grievously wounded her. Izzy would have died, had not a couple Wolf’s Dragoons broken up the fight
The fight with her mother was about who her real parents were; Izzy’s violent tendencies caused her to serverly beat her mother and instill a fear of losing control like that again. She avoids emotional attachments now.
Her Sentinel, the Midnight Roar, is decorated on the side with the image of a keyhole, a remembrance to a former lover, Sora Hikari, whose whereabouts are unknown.
Is trying to locater her father’s missing Archer BattleMech.

*Her parents were a pair of MechWarriors, Jeremiah and Natarle Ward, who put her up for adoption because they felt they couldn’t devote enough time to her.
She swings for both sides as well.

I am so much more comfortable with this character now... *stamps approved upon the player app.*

Not gonna lie though, it would be interesting to see Izzy interact with Barret after Barret realizes the whole cloning bit of the woman he worships and is fanatically devoted to.

Hope you enjoyed the read Jeremy.

And to those of you with responses to Barret entering the Solaris RP, thank you. I hope the outcry of 'NO!' is in the spirit of knowing who he is and what kind of person he is, rather than just because he's very 1 dementional (Though that may be due to less experience as Barret than I do with Rick).

Look forward to your post Jeremy.

If I do it right, could make a daughter of Izzy's be a failclone experiment of not Mary FailSue...but that would be a bit of a stretch...so, if an RP ever came up in 3060 or so, maybe it would not be as bad... *me starts brainstorming*

Anywho, do tell me if I messed something up, I'm prone to mixing up the lore of stuff.

Take it from the king of BSing in his stories, you'd be surprised how much you can get away with if you do it in an engaging and well-writen format. That being said, discuss your post idea before hand for confirmation if you're worried, or do some research on Sarna, you will be fine :P

Well you'd have to stop by customs in the spaceport, that's where the majority of Erin's goons are compiling lists of names of mechwarriors. And considering mechwarriors with mechs are jumping to the top of the list, it's easy to see you getting an invite to come on down and check it out.

Considering that my guy is mostly a techie, would it be okay if I just brought a Loki agent by Maligo's Zeus to bring him into the fold, so to speak?

You have an assault mech, the stable currently doesn't. That's reason enough to try to recruit you. Maybe you have LOKI working with you? As long as its good RP I don't really care.
