I also love a native GUI instead of those WebApplications. Not that they are bad, but i can use the tool also with I-Net disconnected and save the files locally (or upload on our homepage) :angry:

Could we get the Load button to start in Variants? That way the load function starts in the same directory as the save location.

Either that or let us specify where we save our files. Minor annoyance, but having to always go into Variants to find my saved mechs is annoying. ;)

Known Issues (for Compact Mechlab)
*Loading variants has issues with armor for now, it will load stock armor instead.
*Armor related components seems to reset as well when loading any new mech.
*Total Cost is empty (easy fix, will be fixed next patch).


Thanks for all the work on the Mechbay, Majora. It has been invaluable for planning builds and even deciding which variants I want to buy.

I do have one additional issue to add to your list for Compact Mode - Jump Jets aren't listed for jump capable mechs. I checked the Cataphract 3D, Jenner D, and all Catapault and Spider variants.

Noticed that for ECM as well, it is probably just not repopulating the list, should be an easy fix.

As for the looking in the variants folder, yes that can be done.

Updated all three programs

DropCalc
*Export Function now works
*Team Size is capped at 8 for now
*Roles has been switched to variants so you can include variant names for inner-unit ease
*Orion has the correct tonnage

Compact Mechlab
*Fixed armor progress bars not loading correctly even for stock configs
*Fixed ECM and JJs not being loaded into the list of available equipment.

Both Mechlabs
*Added the Death Knell's pic, forgot to actually add it in last update
*Added speculation on the Pretty Baby hero Awesome
*Changed the default directory for loading variant files

Hey bud, can you please enable the info button? I always like to check the stats of the weapons.

Hey All -

Quick question. I get the following error when I try to start the launcher:

"Could not find the main class: MWOMechbay.Main. The program will exit."

Just checking, but is this because I am running an incorrect version of Java, or something else?

You need Java 1.7 to run this program.

Until they release concept art, I won't speculate on those, not to mention I would have to speculate on all the Clan Weapons.

As for the info button, that and the speed tweak fix (keep forgetting) will be for the next update.

Error: "Null Pointer Error: Variant Class was not instanced."

I seem to be getting this a bit more often of late. I get it when loading a previously saved mech. Any idea why this is happening?

I think it has something to do with one of the equipments being placed on there. That's what happened with LBX ammo and the catapult 3 updates ago.

Updated to be in line with the patch today.

Updates
*Updated the Hero Awesome to the correct values, as well as added the correct picture.
*Equipment updated to reflect balance changes.
*Info button is enabled, works with all but the special kinds of equipment (TAG, BAP, AMS, etc).

Bug Fixes
*Fixed Speed Tweak to be the correct value (finally).
*Fixed a minor issue with MASC mechs (hopefully).
*Fixed the Min/Max Speed Limits not showing up.
*Fixed the Max Jump Jet Count Label not showing up.

The info button is NOT enabled.
Awesome's engine size have not been updated.

Did I just download it too soon or something?

The version on dropbox ist still 2.4.06, so its the previous release. I was also wondering.

Alright, it is actually updated this time around, closed my dropbox program before it had finished uploading the first time around.
