For some reason the FF armor values are off by 1 for me. For example, my raven and jenners have 215 armor. According to the spreadsheet I have another 1 point to allocate, but in game, if I do so it will raise the weight to above the ton/half-ton. Same with my hunchback, although i don't remember the value (I think it was 286).

great work though, you have no idea how much time i've spent with this at work :)

They nerfed FF a while back from 36ppt to 35.84. The rounding for the add/subtract armor values has proven difficult. I haven't had a chance yet to work on it. So it can show a couple of armor to much on my sheet vs the actual mech lab.

Excel 2007 Version 12.0.6661.5000 SP3

Okay, I have tested it on a 2007 machine, and it worked. I don't really know much about different native laguages in excel so I am thinking that has something to do with it.

Can you tell me what language your excel version is?

I have added some activate coding, that people suggested can help with the error 1004.

Can you redownload and try again?

Wanted to just tell you that this is freaking awesome!
I have been using this since quite a while and I think this should be standard to the game... Or additional as a program, that comes with the game!

Keep it up - it is worth every minute!

Yami please check you PMs

Edit: They apparently buffed Speed Tweak from 7.5% to 10% with the last patch.

I will need to correct this on the spreadsheet.

Thanks

I can confirm the change in speed tweak.

Still getting 1004 error - Excel 2007 12.0.6665.5003 SP3 MSO (12.0.6662.5000)

But thanks for converting my saves :-) Feel free to use them - they all are battle proven :-)

After looking into this more, I am fairly confident it is a language issue. In the code to pull the saves from version 1.76. I ask it to use a certain sheet and range because 1.76 doesn't have the named range that I used in v1.77. What I think is happening the reference does not exist when it is translated to a different language. After 1.77 (which uses defined names) it probably won't be an issue.

If you are having this problem, link your file. I will download and convert them for you. Thanks.

I was just playing around with the Cataphract. Looks like you have the max engine rating as 335, it should be 340.

Other than the 4X of course, which is correct at 255

fixed

3rdworld, I wanted to thank you for your time and effort on this spreadsheet. It's amazing! This reminds me of the Hero-Forge sheet for D&D. Good work!

A few things I've found:
  • I've noticed that the Basic Pilot Skill "Heat Containment" is still set to the old 2.5% in the sheet. The current patch grants 10% with this skill.
  • Also, looking at mwowiki.org (Cant tell what build this info is from), it states the bonuses from the basic tiers are doubled when you complete the next tier, not sure if your sheet calculates this.
  • Looking in game, I dont see "Coolrun" or "Heat Containment" as Elite skills. I have: "Quick Ignition" and "Pinpoint" in their place.
Things I'd like to see:
I love the comparison line below the mech build. Is it possible to add a column for DPS/Crit?

Sheet only allows up to 305 engines in stalkers, but 310s are available in game. Forgive me if this has been mentioned. Thanks for your great work on this, I don't know why anyone would use anything else to design Mechs!

1. I'll check it out.
2. That is why there are 2 yes/no boxes by Heat Containment and Coolrun. Selecting yes in the second "elite" box doubles the bonuses.
3. see item #2

Thanks

I'll update. I will be adding the Orion in, so it may be a bit longer than normal.

I was just checking this out, and I noticed that the stock Highlander-733 configuration (the 3025 version) is missing one Jump Jet in the CT and the engine is rated too high at 285. It should be a 270 like the -732 variant.

Hey guys. Just got confirmation. v1.78, should fix any import issues for those that are having problems.

Thanks to Yami Kero for answering about a million questions and downloading more times than I thought possible.

Well, thank you for your efforts anyhow, this thing looks incredible. After having a cbill bonfire the other night figuring out all the wrong ways to configure my 5S, acquiring excell might finally be worth it...
