What a way to welcome new players to the game by making them unable to earn cbills while the worthless premade grief new players all their way to the release date and beyond.

Not much point gearing up when the next match u went into is full of premade and say hi to 100k repair bills.

So when can we expect griefing to stop or is this just premade online?

By the time this game hit release, this griefers would already be fully module'd and loaded, once again thanks to griefing

ps. to those [REDACTED] who want premade proof

eg.
superboy vs noob dragon
giantmole vs nova dragon
hercul3z vs giant dragon
y3llowcow vs baby dragon
heromonk3y vs cute dragon
etc etc...

Dont need a brain to know which group is premade. Also if u see the 6-8 ppl focus fire on one when when its in the midst of combat, its obvious.

Didn't someone tell you already? If you're not on a premade team then you have no reason to play this game, you're a terrible pilot with no skill, your opinions on this forum don't matter, your money isn't wanted by the developer and you will be unpopular within the Mechwarrior Online community from now until eternity.

So either leave the game or sit down, be quiet and submit to being griefed by our LRM/SSRM spam. The choice, as always, is yours.

Welcome all new players to Mechwarrior Online btw. We hope your deaths and stompings are as pleasant for you as they are for us.

Signed, Premade Anonymous.

Nah I`ll take my chances and run around with 0 equipment on my jenner and try to cap without getting a single dmg, obviously if its a premade I`ll shutdown and hide in the darkest corner, afterall I`m not gonna spend a single cbills repair because of griefer noobs.

Pretty good deal considering 7-9 / 10 games are full of griefers. Many puggers doing the same anyway, cept they all use trail mechs even when they have enough cash to buy a mech themselves, to save cbills from griefers

The names of known griefers ought to be put on a pastebin, so that all players will know not to give them any mercy, and neither team up with them nor support the activities of their gaming clan.
Aim for the cockpit, whilst fighting them, at the very least.

If what you say is indeed true, and they were rude and insulting or otherwise exploiting game features; simply teaming up isn't wrong conduct.

It's very easy to lose and scream "PREMADE!". Truth is, there isn't that many premades out there and 75% of your "losses to a premade!" are probably just badly played games.

One thing too many newbies fail to realize is that while it's quite easy to get into the game, there's A LOT you can do to improve yourself (as a pilot) and your 'mech. Sure, if you happen to be in a terrible team then you will lose, but that has little to do with your opponent.

The final implementation of matchmaking by PGI won't necessarily fix your problem.

My suggested solutions echo everyone else's:

1) Find some people to play with. Doesn't have to be a full premade. Even just one person you can coordinate with (and talk to) make the whole thing much more enjoyable and more efficient. The more the better. Next time you read someone else complaining in chat about premades, ask him to band up with you so you can queue together next round.

2) Analyze your playstyle and try to understand what you could do differently. Or if you should just use a 'mech that covers a different role.

Premades are in all games. This is a team game. Time to form your team, or just do what you can by yourself.

For the record, I have NEVER grouped with anyone since about the July beta. I have about 1000 played games, all solo. And I have lots of fun and games seem fair enough to me. Sure, my "stats" aren't that great (about 50% losses - 50% wins), but who cares? To be honest, I have never really understood all the complains about premades. Are we people playing the same game at all?

Killing you =/= griefing.

It is only griefing if they constantly heckle or thrash talk the newbies.

Devil's advocate time!

The teams are very imbalanced at the moment, that is true. On the other hand, premades are hardly the cause, vast majority of matches I lost were achieved by serious lack of tactics awareness of my team or inability to hit huge, stationary targets that stand right in front of you. I can't blame the beginners for lousy aiming, but lets say you get the best idea about your team when you die and watch your teammates fight. Quite often you will be scared by their performance and would whine less about premades.

wow thats like a tactic thats been around...since 1985 when the TT game came out-pick a target and make it dead.

a real simple solutiont to all your woes-get on teamspeak, join a group of pugs that talk to each other, you enjoyment of the game will increase greatly.

What will you do when the Matchmaker is updated and there ar no more "premades" to "grief" you and you still lose your matches? And, for sure, you WILL!!!
There are far less premade teams then you think, and in the case that there is a premade team on the other side it is only 2 or maybe 3 men strong. Thats it! Stop dreaming and try to improve your skills! This game isn't as easy as you think and the gap between those who are good and the rest is very big!
You should realize that you are maybe not the "roXXorprogamer" that you think you are!!!

I play lonewolf (most of the time)

every time I encounter a Premeade group on my side, they are nice people :
"Hello GL-HF, we are premade, if you want you can stick to us".

Thats very nice, seeing what paths they take to cross the map, how they cover each other - allways a pleasure to look at and to be part of (even if not in the TS).

Every time I encounter a premade group on the orther side (what happens way more often),
I give my best to sell my skin as expensive as possible. Show them some tricks and tactics I learned...and hopefully...at least I imagine them on the other side saying "nice, look at that guy".

That way or another...playing (winning or loosing) against better opponents makes me better. Playing against weaker opponents just makes me sleepy.

And hey...what the hell? One match is 10 minutes...as if I did keep a count of every match!

Yep, thats the usuall case of "griefing".

A lot of players just plain suck and as a result lose. If majority of your team consist of bad players - you will lose, even if you good yourself.

Removing premades will not help. These are not that numerous. I guess at max 10% of PUG games are against premade.

Only advanced skill based machmaking will help to even chances.

And again: currently premades are not a threat, but a solution to anyone who want a good expirience.
With premade your make matchmaking yourself.

getting 60-70k for a 2 minute match vs a good premade doesnt exactly ruin your cbill grind. Maybe your epeen, but thats it.

and really thats what most players are doing right now. 70% of the puggers (myself included) wouldnt even realise they ran into a premade since the goal is to go down in a blaze of glory as fast as possible.

(occasionally doing Arial headshots on an Atlas using a Jenner from 80m above :))

Since they are unable to play by themselves (while it's clearly possible without much frustration), I am sure that they will benefit by playing with someone else. It's a team game.

"Premade" is not exploiting, or a bad word, or anything. Neither "premades" have better weaponry or their bullets make more damage than yours. If you want to be a lone gunner, I suggest you play a game that is not so strongly based on teams.

But as already pointed out, even as a solo artist, you can have fun if you know what you are doing.

So I give them three options instead of one:

1) Find mates
2) Learn to play
3) Go away

Your 4th option, which would probably be "HAVE PREMADES PLAY ONLY AGAINST EACH OTHER!" is juvenile. Which is not necessarily an insult. Then again, we all know it will be implemented at some point because they want to please everyone, even you, but in the meantime you could pretty please be patient and apply one of the three aforementioned solutions since your constant yelling on the forums about the game not yet being developed exactly the way YOU want it is just very unpolite.

In no way I said that I'm good, I'm more like an avarage casual player! I'm just as realistic enough to see that I might lose because of bad performance of me or my teammates, and I'm not a childish little wannabe who cries when he lost a match!

Like somebody said on TS today, if you have enough time to go on the forums and complain about it, you have enough time to log into the TS server and find a team to drop with.

Definition of griefing: Purposely killing low level players repeatedly. There are no levels in this game, it's not an MMORPG.
