Short answer: Yes. I would pay to have unseens, reseens in the game. Any of the old icons would be more than enough incentive for me to pry open my wallet and fork over the appropriate amount of silver, gold, precious gems, etc....

Once again i am confused... why is it that living legends has some of the "unseen" in them and nobody says anything, and why is it that FASA had these designs for so many years and HG didnt say anything? I mean lets face facts HG went **** up years ago..they should be happy if someone wants to give them money to use "their" designs

That's a nice coincidence , I hope that there are many more out there, so that the developers will have to consider implementing these mechs in MWO. Naturally, I would prefer redesigned mech types close to the original designs and not having to pay for them due to copyright issues.

My fav Mech of all time is the Phoenix Hawk, my 1st Mech was the Panther but I somehow found a Phoenix Hawk later on in my 1st Mechwarrior (RPG) game and it quickly became my fav Mech. I even got lucky enough one day in a game to put my hands onto a Phoenix Hawk LAM /drool...

Nyway, I like lots of those Unseen/Reseen Classic Designs, would like to see most of them make it in MWO. I would be glad to pay 5$ per Chassis np. Hell, I would even buy a Locust just for old time sake.

But yea, I want my Phoenix Hawk bad... I might pilot a enturion till they make the Phoenix Hawk available in MWO

I'd have to say based on my play style the Phoenix Hawk, but really would also like to see the Battlemaster, Warhammer, Rifleman, Archer, Marauder, Wasp, Locust, oh hell I want to see all of them, except maybe the OST series.

That's because the original Marauder was a sleek and menacing death machine. This one looks more like, maybe a Marauder II. It's just too bulky for a plain, old 75 ton Marauder.

For me there is absolutely no question which mechs look and would feel better to pilot in MWO. The Reseen ones seem completely different in style than the Unseen ones, although the Warhammer Reseen seems more true/authentic to the orginal Unseen than in the case of the Shadow Hawk, and I wonder at what point an Unseen mech is regarded as Reseen? Is just the change of one major design detail enough to change an Unseen into a Reseen battlemech?

What do you consider reasonable when it comes to the question of (re-)design and who would be the ones to judge when Unseen becomes Reseen, the license holders or courts/impartial institutions?

I'd like all of them as it'd be awkward having a succession war era game without them. But above all, the Marauder and Warhammer.

And I like the reseen Marauder. It has that "I WILL kill you" look like an attack helicopter.

As for paying money for them............

I will never understand why a Battletech/Mechwarrior franchisee doesn't just negotiate a contract with the Robotech/Macross/whoever owners, wherein the use of the Unseen could be liscenced. Popularly desired designs could once again be enjoyed on the one end, and a little royalty somethin'-somethin' could be experienced on the other. It's...just...not...fair.

there are alot of inner sphere mechs that should be brought into this game in my humble opinion. like the vulture, bushwacker, daishi and the list goes on.. i think with the availability of different types the game will be as good as mech warrior 3 if not better with the mmo rpg side of it i think i will bring in the bucks.. Those are the mechs that really should/MUST be put in this gaem. I also think that every last one of them needs a bit of a facelift by teh MWO artist (forgive me, I don't know his name) except the Battlemaster. In my opinion, the reseen Battlemaster looks...AWESOME!? Harmony Gold can keep their original Battlemaster, the new one looks GREAT!
