If you have 16 DHS now you were more efficient than you were last patch.

This game become LRM duel simulator now.
Use another classes have no sense. Spotter + LRM - is enough for win. No close combat, no tactic, no fun. I agree -game is terrible now. I dont want play game like this. Balance in close beta was much better.

Boycot LRMs? You silly boy, that's not how internet works.

If something is broken. ABUSE THE HELL OUT OF IT!
Only thing I'm sad about is that I just bought Catapult-K2(Gauss+PPC, no dual gaus FYI) and not some A1 or C1.

On a serious note, ECM whould be an option, not a mandatory equipment for every mech... oh wait we don't even have that yet.

I'm sure the devs will fix LRMs eventually, but I hope it sooner than later, since this WILL drive away potential players.

I mostly agree with OP but 2 c-bills from me as from indirect fire support mach player(read i play LRM cats)
1.LRM rly need some dmg nerf(like 1.8 or 1.85).Its easy to hammer down light or medium mech w/o cover in 3-5 volleys with cooperate with teammates.On defend i have to say players doing this to themselfs.I like Jenners who think "I am invincible" and running 4 line at caustic and then crying out river on forums how are LRMs overpowered yo...
2.That missile incoming beep is only with ECM i think or...?
3.We REALY need ECM(longer lock-on,longer reading targets info and so on...)
4.I would like to have C3 network(slave and master) so i know if some is NERCed or TAGed

The game was better before this patch, there is nothing about this patch that I feel improved the game... nothing....

The things that were taken out, (cockpit rocking when you get hit, warning lights and buzzers in the cockpit sections of the enemy mechs glowing when you hit them ext.) put them all back, mechs running into eachother and falling down, put that back in. The missiles............ revert them back to the way they were, rethink artemis completely, maybe a 1 ton module that makes 10% more of the missiles hit or something, missiles were powerful enough before. Streak............ streak should always hit, they just shouldnt hit center torso every time. just change it so they hit center left and right torso.

The game was better before this patch... it was much more fun. Mechwarrior fans dont want an FPS, they want Mechwarrior.

The only thing the game needed (besides new mechs, maps, gameplay modes) was integrated voice chat, and a better matchmaking system. Players who single Que should be matched against other players who single Que,and groups who Que together should be matched against other groups. Eventually players should be rated based on in game statistics and matched with other similarly rated players but for now just premade vs. premade pug vs. pug.

The game was much more fun before this patch, I know this will probably never happen, but I would revert the game to the last patch and scrap this one entirely.

Keep the slightly improved hit detection though. Lights still have a bit of a lag shield, but at least my AC rounds don't bounce off of an Atlas' lag-shield.

HI PGI.

I hate the title of this thread. It should be changed to "LRM feedback"
  • Buildings not working for cover anymore. All matches centered on avoiding or dealing LRM damage.
  • Game has no tactical immersion. Coordinated team play no longer effective under LRM umbrella.
  • Stay close to slow movers, LRMs strip you.
  • Try and interdict LRM boats, lrms strip you because high heat energy weapons have low dps.
  • brawling exposes me to LRMs.
  • collision missing removes immersion and physicality. piloting is not piloting anymore.
  • fps drop.
  • energy weapon heat too high.
  • hard to put in time playing without team play.
Thanks for listening. Please patch again soon. No I am not looking for feedback to this post from my fellow mechwarriors. Love you guys, but this is feedback not discussion.

Couldn't have said it better.....Not happy AT ALL WITH THIS PATCH....not liking the game....guess going back to World of Tanks...this is ridiculous.

This game has kind of gotten crazy. The over abundance of LRMs with their increased damage and accuracy have really unbalanced the game. Prior to this patch, I enjoyed running close up brawlers with energy weapons and cannons, since the patch those builds are useless and I have to stick with artimus LRM's.

In short the changes made to this game over the last 6 weeks have really made this game less fun. The missiles really need to be toned down so real balance be found in the 3 different weapon types.

Jesus, It's the same thing after every patch, people cryin they hate it, people whinin to turn it back to the last patch.. people claimin they're gonna run away n play somethin else.. Go friggin do it, get your refunds.. play Mario Cart or whatever the hell it is you think is better as long as it shuts you up n lets them keep adding things to the game n tweak it where it needs it.

Save your rediculous rants n either play n report issues, or don't.. Come back in a year after ya mom throws away ya legos. See ya.

Thanks for the missle incoming warning introduced in this patch, however I think mine may be broken as it activates about 45seconds into the game and never goes off.

"This is beta" does not count or work anymore when they went open.
A F2P game with open beta is the same as a release. No matter how they call it.

Its a F2P game and everyone can play it now. Tell me where the difference is to the release when the "beta" is over.

Everyone can play it, see it, test it, and make up their mind on it. As soon as you go public with such a game you open the box. And problems, bugs and imballance will hit back to you because player give most games only once chance. If its not working, they are gone.
It was said more than once during closed beta. And it got ignored.

Dont missunderstand me. I am not going to call for a refund or something. I like this game and hope they dont take half a year to fix the problems. But i can see how others will not have my patience.

I have seen a dramatic increase in Crashing to the desktop in this latest patch Nov 6.
Also mech deaths close up or my own mech dieing I see really FUBARed cockpits all black

I am also seeing quite a few commandos and Jenners with arm geometry having attachment points some distance from their mechs while moving at distance.

and yes not liking the Artemis missle fests without at least ECMs to deal with it, seriously this artemis was internaly tested before letting it loose?

I can actually hit fast moving light mechs with lasers now, so please, don't revert the patch.
