As to LRM's, I agree with the majority of the above that yes, since the nerf LRM's are in a much better place. They are a support weapon not a entire strategy for the game. Prior to the patch it was silly, light mechs stood no chance if they went into the open to receive even one salvo from a properly set up LRM boat.
Your are trolling, if you have something beneficial to add please it or move on. We discussing the changes here not mocking TT.
Agreed!
Hey Zef, stop trolling the Skye Ranger member posts on these forums. Just a suggestion before I report you.

the easiest way is to turn off auto repair, after a fight... especially if you got blown apart...
then repair JUST THE ARMOR, the indicator at the top will not be at 100%...

If this was yesterday, as in before the hotpatch around 10am PST on November 8th, then 2 LRM 20's probably would have cored the guy. Of course it could be that the commando was some kind of disconnect, this game seems to do strange things with people who disconnect.
He wasn't disconnected. He took the hit, shrugged it off and kept going. I guess the only way to judge if they are OP is to compare damage totals after the match. If they are significantly lower than everyone else, they need a slight buff.

Forget all the damage-per-missile math. Look at the total damage you reported after each of these games and compare that to the average damage any other good loadout will generally do in a game. The amount of damage you are reporting is average (300-400) to better than average (600-700). If you did more damage than this on a regular basis, the numbers would be consistently higher than any other loadout, which is the very definition of overpowered. As it is, you are inline with other loadouts, which to me says "balance achieved" and a job well done on the hotfix.

Yr points are off topic, LRM damage is the thing we discussing. As to yr sentence: "I can't fathom how the developers can conclude that LRMs were so terribly overpowered, minus the rediculous flight path they had, compared to those two weapons". Did you not notice that just prior to the recent hot fix that even the best light mech pilot could not actually play in fear of one LRM salvo taking him out. With that said, we dropped alot last night, and with the new stats, LRM's are now in a stable place.

The hitbox may be off for most weapons not just LRMs.

Damage capability versus Actual done in a particular map are completely different I think. DMG done is a variable subject to each engagement where as damage capability is set in stone, what is not defined is where the LRM's will hit on the mech. It may be deceptive as to what damage you actually doing as the damage is spread.

YOU SHOULDN'T BE ABLE TOO! You would get slaughtered on the tabletop. LRM's should not be able to kill a mech like your saying.

Okay, I do admit, I did get off topic a bit there. Do you feel differently about my comparison between LRMs and those two other popular weapon systems though? I think it holds value in this thread topic.

they neither are too strong anymore, nor are they useless...to me they feel in line...and i only use "smaller" LRM´s...i´ll test LRM 20 later... i guess i can deal a bit damage with those...
