I'm done here.

Before you leave take a look at this beauty, and OH MY GOD! This guy is also speaking on behalf of the community feedbacks we are sending them for the last 5 months, yes US, who subscibed to the Artemis controller newsletter, and email infos, yes US who are sending them our feedbacks until they release the final product, and OH! The horror man, he is also saying that it has primarily been produced as an immersive 1st person cockpit experience specifically for MWO in collaboration between Piranha and Razer themselves...
Fast Forward to: 3:30 and enjoy.

wrong wrong wrong worng man!
where the hell do you get your infos from?
Razer always intended to turn the Artemis into full production.
I followed the Artemis since day 1, i subscribed to the newsletter and infos by mail on it, like many others i submitted my feedbacks on it for the last 5 months.

Production is also as we speak on its way. Something went wrong and it has been delayed.
But as a proof, you can watch this video from razer at E3, saying they intend to launch it into full finished product as a Phirana/Razer collaboration.

Here for you buddy. Fast forward to 3:30

Seen the E3 video many times, and the newsletters. What else do you think they was say the marketing team would say at an E3 conference?

No point in debating it, you can believe what you like.

I personally hope it does become a product, and a lot of people internally are committed to it, but it is still has a concept status and has yet to become a planned product, production wise.

That video is form the launch day of it... that is in all way a prototype... a working prototype but still a prototype.... They say it in the video.. it was unveiled a day ago when that video was made. Since then very little NEW info have been coming from Razer on the subject.

Good lord the OP should have his keyboard confiscated. Pay attention to what was said before you go opening your mouth about **** you don't understand. This isn't F* Mechassault.

I'm usually pretty gracious about these kind of things but speaking with supposed authority from a place of ignorance is deplorable.

Are you a subscriber to the Artemis newsletter? You sent them your feedback for this controller for the last 5 months like many of us did? Apparently...NO.
They are saying in the vid that they will release the artemis as a full finished product for MWO.
Oh and by the way since we're at it, why don't you let the devs themselves tell you about it?
Fast Forward to 4:00 and enjoy.

Same images and same info... I am not saying they did not have the intention to do all this 6 months ago.. i am just saying that we have had no proof so far that any progress have been made apart form you claiming so.. and judging by your original post i am not putting all that much value to water on that as you did missed the ball completely on the info given by PGI in the podcast.

Also how can you give feedback on something you have no been able to use..? Or have you actually played with a Artemis..?

To make it clear legally. You did not speak for me when you mentioned the MWO community. Your opinions and thoughts do not reflect my own opinions and thoughts. I would like you to retract that letter and add my handle to a list of people who do not endorse your letter when you resend it and for every letter you send out to any company claiming to be a spokesperson for that community I am a part of. I am deeply offended at the fact that you tried to speak for me.

No matter how you do communicate with them, the important thing is you DO communicate with us on important questions.
This has been quite a stir right? It was the intention, as things in this life are only moving forward when individuals actually set them in motion. I asked questions, now i am waiting for answers.
90% of us voted no as regarding 3rd person view and there is a very good reason behind it.
You can turn around the real questions, you can twist the answers, it wont change that, no matter what, when we are spending a lot of real money for a product, we want to know what will happen with it, how, when, and why.

Thank you very much.

Not at all, i am simply asking questions about things that have been announced, about promises that were made regarding the core of the game itself, since it involves money, our money, and also about announcement for products to buy compatible with MWO.
The questions are simple, where are they really going with all that, what will they implement or not, when, and why.

So, you are buying an expensive controller for ONE game? Back in the 90s, I bought a motion tracking headset MAINLY for Mechwarrior 2, but I used it for a lot of other games as well.

Depends on how expensive it is, I guess. I'm a nerd and I like my nerdy stuff; this fits the bill. People buy crazy stuff all the time, who are we to criticize?

I do not assume anything, i asked questions regarding 90% of us saying NO to 3rd person view implementation into MWO.
Again, we are spending real money here, we need the answers to our questions.
If you buy anything in a store, with a promise that the product will do this or that, but in the end, ended up with an useless item and doing absolutely nothing about it, not returning to the store with it, it's your choice.

No, you said, "I am writing to you ON THE BEHALF of the Mechwarrior Online Community...". Your words...you have not been appointed as the spokesperson for the Mecharrior community except on your own...

EDIT: Oh, and wait, I don't see you have spent any money on the game since you are not a Founder...unless you are hiding behind a fake forum account, cause you don't want us to know your pilot name in-game?

You sent a letter to a joystick company about game mechanic decisions (possibly) made by a game developer. What was the plan there? What will that accomplish exactly?

As long as your here. Artemis canceled or what? I cant imagine they were going forward building it with this level of....."functional joystick play"

There was all of 2 game genre that did joysticks well. Flight simulators, and mechwarrior. I wish the very core workings of the game weren't designed around mouse first, joystick....mabye some day.

. . . Really? I vote no Assumptions on the forums !! I represent .000001 < myself > of the community when I say your assuming WAY too much when it hasn't even been described how it may be implemented or even if it will be ... How is it you feel that PGI is run by community Democracy? 91% of the people who REPLIED TO THE POLL agree that 3rd person view should not be in the game though i would also bet that if PGI stated that 3rd person view would only be usuable in a Training Drop as part of a playable Tutorial and can not be used in "ranked" drops or in Community Warfare .... then 91% would be 100% ok with it .... Get a Grip please and stop the madness your promoting !!!

Fair enough... but yet again... 90% of a few thousand out the the HUNDREDS of thousands of register'd players... silly I know... stop making it sound like 90% of those HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS voted against it...
