Voted no. The game is little better then a latter Alpha. I see no real progressand direction by the developers.
They add little new content but many hot shot "bug fixes" which make things worse than they were before.

That's a good summery.
I didn't buy a game, I invested money in a company.

Close, but what doesn't fit is that you don't get returns for your investment. You bought stuff at a discounted price and got to play the early beta.

I'm not going to lie and say I'm not angry with some of the decisions that the devs have made, but the core gameplay is still very fun. I don't regret my purchase into the founders program, as I've had a lot of fun so far, but I've been getting more and more frustrated with the many crash to desktop bugs. PGI needs to start fixing the major ones, or this community is going to die off quick. That would be a real shame, as this game has some real potential to be great. :\

I've had my money's worth just playing in the closed beta, and the founders mechs are really awesome, so yeah I'm happy to spend money on a beta.

Yes very happy. It was time we got a new mechwarrior game. Having tons of fun, and i play a lot.

I spent 30 bucks and got 1 month premium time (well actually i play with premium on since beta started and will have the option to restart my 1 month once they implement it), enough MC to buy a Yen Lo Wang, enough mechbays to take 4 chassis to master while keeping 2 variants of each (Jenner,Atlas,Centurion,Hunchback) and i still got 4750mc left.

I really cannot come up with anything that would make me regret it. To be honest i wish i would`ve spent more (elite founder) to support developement. Just gonna buy hero mechs i guess.

I'm happy with the value that I got for my purchase, so I'm going to vote yes.

Besides, it was necessary for me to play this game at all. I have this... quirk, where if I don't get in a multiplayer game very early (release day at the absolute latest) I will adamantly refuse to play it later on, forever. There is only one exception to this rule that I can think of over the past 5+ years. And I definitely wanted to play MWO, so...

Extremely pleased thus far, lots of work ahead for PGI but all in all I am happy that I was able to get the founders pack. Though I may not spend much more money on it the investment so far has more than paid for itself.

I feel that I would be remiss in my duty to see a new battletech mechwarrior game brought to market. It's been more than ten years since mechwarrior mercenaries 4. I love the concept and would rather play this type of game than any other.

Saying that, this game is certainly going through some difficulties but I will not pass judgment until the developers proclaim that this is the finished product.

I am glad I paid: This game (minus its bugs and netcode issues) is everything I wanted the next Battletech game to be. They have got the feel of the game just right and they deserve every penny I gave them. Also, I get a warm, fuzzy feeling knowing that I helped make this, that PGI have used my money in its creation as if they were doing a commission for me (and believe me, if I had commissioned this I would be extremely pleased with it). Best of all, as it's a work in progress, I know it's just going to get even better.and that all those shortcomings, bugs and netcode issues are going to disappear. The Founder's program bonuses are just the little jelly cake toppings (damn those things are good) in the icing on the cake. They've done good work, I trust that they'll do even more.

I never considered the Founders as "buying" something. My view is that I helped the development of a game I really would like to be launched!

I think you misunderstand the concept of being a founder, I didn't pay for a beta, I invested for the future. I was already in the beta beforehand.

If there was oceanic servers I'd have already dropped $50 and I joined during open beta. That is really all I'm hoping they can achieve before I spend way more money then I probably should on a game.

Yes.
Game is quite in raw shape, there's tons of bugs, my PC can barely handle the game, etc. etc. etc.
I've not paid to get the game as it is now, but for the game it will be.
MW is a priceless, unique franchise, and it must be restored to it's former glory. I'm all willing to help those, who too the responsibility. I just hope they will listen to wise people and make right decision and work on their priorities a little.

I am quite Happy with what I have spent before the game even came out to Closed Beta

Even tho I do not agree with a few things the Devs have been doing, like allowing Premades vs PUGs.... and I havent played for 4 weeks since the Exploiting of the System started... and it is an exploit, the Devs have just decided to turn a blind eye and harming the game in the process...

I didn't pay money for this game... as it is a F2P game. (duh)

After a month of free-closed-beta-invite testing, I donated money to the development for the purpose of gaining in game bonuses and a cool blue Atlas that I didn't have to grind the c-bills for.

Next time you create a poll, try not to put so much hate into it.

Yes.

I'm quite happy to help support this mechwarrior game. It's been far too long since we've had the pleasure of stomping around destroying things. There are kinks to work out, of course, but as long as the Devs are continuing to add content and refine things I'm happy.

I can't answer this question, I was in Beta before the Founders packs went on sale, so, in effect, I didn't pay any money to get into beta, I payed money to support the project. ;)

I couldn't vote. On the one hand I was and am still happy to support a serious attempt to reboot our beloved franchise. On the other hand PGI makes a lot of bad decisions, has their priorities all sideways and rushes certain things, is glacial in content, and has yet to have one release be stable enough to call it 'minimum viable content'.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.

Getting tons of free premium time on top of the discounted mc price. Good deal for 30 bucks.

I was in closed beta before founders came along.
