In an earlier post on the beta forums I believe one of the devs stated that the actual pre mades vs PUGS was extremely low, meaning the PUGS outnumbered the premades by a vast majority,

Now knowing I am grabbing at smoke, is there any way to post the statistics of how many matches have grouped folks vs random's. I do not even know if you can track the information this way. But it would hopefully settle all of the folks claiming they are consistently being rolled by pre mades when in fact its PUG vs PUG.

Yes yes to everyone else anytime someone is beaten its always a pre made that did it. I am just looking for some statistics so I can put the post in my signature and have folks fall back on it.

Possible?

We are taking steps to fix this (Phase 1 will be soon, in fact) but a lot of this is player perception. I play outside of groups 99% of the time, and in the last two weeks I've played against a grand total of two premades. Today I played 20 matches just to see; got zero.

It can be frustrating to lose like that, sure, but what people often forget is they're losing because they literally do zero group work. No-one uses C3, no-one even uses text chat. Then they get picked apart one by one. I managed to get a random group of guys to talk and we beat an actual premade (one of those two I faced) because a lot of the guys there were great players, they just needed a good leader.

And no, I don't mean yelling at people who don't listen to you

this. if after the battle the chat was opened so you could see everything that was typed, and the losing team has nothing, and the winning team has a paragraph, then it would be obvious what did it.

also http://mwomercs.com/...ew-stat-needed/

this would go a long way, all premades understand this, puggers dont seem to get it at all.

Garth also said that true DHS let him kill an atlas in 3 seconds. Presumably using weapons with about a 3 second recycle time.

Meaning he was able to (at ABSOLUTE LONGEST) two shot an Atlas in a Jenner. So far I haven't heard anyone come here and report having replicated that.

It's not going to happen at this point.
But have a friendly bump, anyway.

Maybe it was an Atlas with an XL engine and no armour in the rear side torsos?

could happen from behind. 6 mpl to the rear, ammo explosion, xl engine.

I can 3 shot an atlas in the back rear center torso (Founders Atlas) with Jenner F and 6 Med Lasers :> Have not been able to do two only way I can see this is if someone stripped their rear armor to save tonnage for something/

Yeah I kinda figured when I posted it. However the first reply is the post I saw a while back, and will definitely link it in my signature.

Thanks

If he was running 6mpl as his baseline, then he was trying to support his argument with rubbish.

6mpl BEFORE the heatfix, with TRUE DHS, is remarkably biased. They did medlas heat for extra damage. This was known before PGI admitted it, so he was abusing a bug to prove that a system was overpowered.

With the heat fix now, even DHS doesn't avoid the shutdown you earn for yourself alpha striking 6mpl twice. As such, DHS wouldn't have played a huge part in the math if you just took a spin on the explosion chance table firing twice.

And the only thing true DHS would give you monstrously overpowered bastaard would be the chance to do a third alpha (maybe, depending on how many extras you plugged into your mech) before overheating.

For everyone else, true DHS would get more of us onto the playing field of a Jenner.

we have to, how else do you herd the cats that are puggers? all i do for the first 30 seconds of a match is type out stuff, telling puggers where we are going, what we are doing, why we are doing it, and inviting them to come with. you cant just type, stick together, follow me. they wont do it.

but if you do it in a informative way, and never tell them to do anything, and say it nice, they will work with you. if puggers didnt ahve the ego they do, then this wouldnt be a problem and simple little messages would get the job done. this is not the case, and you have to pander. pandering takes lots of typing.

I generally assumed you just put a map waypoint down and the ones who show up, show up. The others wander off and distract some enemies long enough for you to lopside the game.

I try a general helpful strategy at the start, but if the Puggers ignore me, I don't waste time trying to type while moving anymore.

Garth posted on this. The ones screaming against premies either called him a liar, ignored his post on it, or just completely disregarded it as not valid.

I would like to see the numbers too - from prior to the last patch and during this patch and for all of the other mathc maker phases.

What really amazes me is that regardless of us having the data the devs DO have the data. If it was REALLY that lopsided and premies were the evil boogeymen many make them out to be then they would change it.
Or you could go with the thought process that states the devs wouldn't change it because they're all liars, cheat, steal, and heck and want new players to lose interest in the game they're developing for their paychecks and be out of a job.

Please do not turn this into a Jenner is OP thread as its not the intent, all the facts are not represented. Currently we are on an even playing field.

this is why i have a 10-1 win loss i would assume. i make sure everyone is doing what i want, and will be as diplomatic as needed to get it done. its all that seperates my game play from any pugger, this game is easy, anyone can shoot and walk. what makes the game special is what you do to control your team, and work together. i make note of everyones name, if i see someone doing something stupid, i dont type"hey asshat, stop that" i type "player name here, you are exposing your self to early and taking damage you dont need to, step back" sure it takes 2 seconds to type(i type fast) and they get hit once or twice before it comes out, but it better than watching him get killed and doing nothing

Actually the day after the LRM hotfix several ppl were reporting instant death syndrome. Not sure if its still happening but I havent seen it happen in awhile. Many suspected it had to do with crazy crit chances, They may have stealth fixed it server side and we never knew.

It doesn't really matter what the actual percentages were. All that does matter is, it was happening way too frequently, and led to a very sour and divided community.
