Most beta's will specify within the NDA whether or not you are allowed to discuss if you are IN beta or not. Most allow you to, but you are not allowed to share any information about the game, only that you are simply involved in the beta.

I have not yet (hope hope wink wink) seen the NDA for PGI, however the Turbine, Cryptic, Trion and Bioware NDA's forbid disclosure of beta participation. I would be willing to bet The PGI NDA has that claus as well.

You can say you were invited to the beta, if you decline the NDA. Once you sign the NDA, you break it if you disclose participation. I declined an NDA for Trion's newest MMO today (by way of example), RTS is not my thing, and I am crossing my fingers for a PGI NDA. Won't have time for both anyway.

No worries, in general this is a pretty awesome community, I see no reason anyone would be lying to each other before the game is even playable.

Okay I have passed on two beta invites today, yes I rejected two NDA's because they are not the NDA I want. Blizzard just sent me one for Mists of Pandaria and Trion sent me an invite for End of Nations Beta's. PGI I just have to let you know that I pass on those two prom invites, cause I am holding out for you.

That's right this summer I only have eyes for Mechwarrior Online.
