you might be a lyran if you try to stand and deliver vs clans
you might be a lyran if you are asking the clan to come get you
you might be a lyran if you spend more time with your atlas then your wife
your wife might be lyran if she is washing your atlas in a bikini with money for rags

You might be a Lyran if you can complete most contracts in an Atlas with no legs.

You might be a Lyran if seeing it would cause you to enact a certain infamous scene from 'Scanners'.

If you use Atlases as garden gnomes, you might be a Lyran.

...You don't consider anything under 30 tons 'a valid target'
...You and your mech smoke the same brand of cigars
...Your Atlas mounts an emergency yacht
...Your regiment's APCs were stripped and retrofitted to 'Mobile Party Centers'
...You've ever responded to a Batchcall with the words "Suck" and "Sir" in the same sentence
...You correct Clanners on their grammar
...You've ever referred to the federated commonwealth as 'our less civilized brethren'
...You've loaned Uncle Chandy money
...You've ever joined a polo match via low orbital drop
...Your aide de camp pilots an atlas for mid-battle tea deliveries
...Your Battlemech has a swagger stick

You might be a Lyran if you use an Assault Mech as a paperweight.

I'm a Lyran and I would like to respond to ChargerIIC's racial slurs:
Nothing under 35 tons is a valid target. Good for use as a stepping stone though or as a roller skate.
Me and my Mech do smoke the same cigars. All hand rolled from Solaris VII.
My Atlas never had a escape yacht but did have a kick butt sound system and very nice tactical operations center (TOC) with a long range com array.
APC? What's that? Oh you must mean those things we use for target practice.
Have used the words "suck" and "sir" in response to a batchall. Kept a cluster tied up for four months during the Coventry push by the Jade Falcons that way.
I don't correct Clanners on their gramar, I'm crazy not suicidal.
Have referred to the FC as our "lesser civilized brethren". It started one helluva a pub fight and I received a large bar tab to boot.
"Uncle Chandy" who?
I have never joined a polo match from orbital drop but have orbital dropped plenty. One word, Marine .
"Aide de Camp"? Oh you meant the retards in the rear with the gear. I wouldn't know, always too busy getting shot at.
Where can I get the aforementioned "Swagger" stick? Might go nicely with my Martial Arts Battlemech skill. Willing to try most things once and you never know, it might go nicely with my fuzzy dice .
