I love this application! I used to use the earlier offline java one, but it was a bit clunky when actually adding/removing weapons. Very well done, nice layout, honestly all around fantastic job! My favorite feature has got to be the Mech bay, since I can make them at work (let's say, when I'm on "break") then build them at home in game

Just wanted to chime in and say you're awesome for making this. :D I love the mechlab and the stats page, hugely helpful.

Hm.. strange.
Just tested it, seems to work fine with all variants.

That's odd I had it happen again just this morning. I'll have to keep an eye on it, it's probly a certain combination of components and/or keystrokes.

This is exactly how the mechlab ingame should look like....devs take notes your implementation SUCKS! Buying double heatsinks before knowing if you want them is stupid!

very well done smurfy. One thing i didnt see is jumpjet distance and max number of jumpjets. Also ballistic weapons max range seems to be slightly higher than x2 not sure if that is intended or not.

I would like to see a Jump Jet counter on the left for current and max.

I also noticed the maps. Please tell me you're going to allow us to draw on them in the future, and then share the drawing.

That would be awesome. Though I guess for now you could use a plugin like MarkUp to draw on the webpage and then share it.

Hi, slightly confusing why is damage for LRM 1.8 per rocket and when looking at ammo it shows 1.6?

K.

1.8 = dmg per missile you cause to your enemies on hit.
1.6 = dmg per missile it caused to YOUR mech if the ammo got hit by enemy fire and explodes.

Feels a bit laggy on the tablet. It works, but it seems as if it's taking extra long to figure out that I'm actually pressing where I am pressing. It's workable, but not enjoyable.
Android tablet?

If so, which browser are you using?

I've been trying to get it to work on my Note, but I can drag and drop. That's with Chrome, Dolphin and the stock Android browser.

I'd REALLY like to get this working on my Note.

The maps are great!!!
I have one suggestion for the next features in the maps:

If by clicking on the map, you would select "position" and select a weapon (eg LRM) from the list of counties would show the range (green and yellow) selected weapon. I do not know if I explained it well, so I did my "visualization".

This is only a visualization, not the version or the actual look of the page!

That would be awesome!

Hmm showing weapon ranges for all the weapons and how much damage you can do at each range might be cool as well.

But the most important thing is adding Dawns and Fluffy dice.

I posted that directly after my testing, from the same Chrome Browser on my Asus Transformer.

Like the maps, but I'd rather see more stats first then draw options on the maps personally to be honest

Chrome should work.
Which version do you use?

Is it possible to have a "load stock armor" option? I find myself just loading stock loadout and then having to strip everything from it. Also great job on the site!

It is possible, and quite probably that we will see it in one of the next versions :)

Yup. I just wasn't trying hard enough. It's terribly laggy but possible.

Is it at all possible to get click-to-select and click-to-place?

nice utility, thanks for it
two problems:

1) weight values of final builds are off by as much as five tons in some cases
2) doesn't implement engine heatsink requirements, so you can have a valid build in your mechlab but not in-game
