I think we need to teach these people the definition of "surprise". They seem to have miss interpreted it as "Guaranteed content and game fixes!".

sadly its not a discount on MCs...if you shell out the cash that you could say go buy halo 4 or another AAA title that is already out, or if you are a high roller you could BUY A NEW MOTHERBOARD with decent features. it would've made more sense to add the MC "bonus" to all tiers of purchase, that more people would've been enticed to buy. But hey I'm just your average consumer who doesn't have the money to spend on much of anything (although I probably could've gotten a lower tier package) and probably would have if the game was playable.

20% extra is... very little, given how expensive MC is already.
A surprise to me, but an awful one. If I wanted 'savings', I'd be looking at the Steam sale! Those are good deals, not this.

PGI, IGP, anyone... please, stay with me for a second. MICROtransactions. That means small. Many small purchases for a steady stream of money. Mechbay-like small, and encouraging small purchases. Candybar-like prices so that people won't recoil. TF2 keys-like. ME2/3 alternate appearance pack-like. People buy those because "why the hell not".

Hoping that people will shell out an equivalent of AAA title (or more) in one go, especially with so little content, is unlikely to bring fruits again. It only makes you all look bad, and the wallets clamp down tighter. Even the gold founders are recoiling from your pricing policy.

Please reconsider this course before it drags the whole game under.

This will make me sound like a fanboy but honestly why did people build up such high expectations. There was nothing in the roadmap so it was a bit unrealistic to think that we would get anything major.

And trust me there will be a lot of people that will take them up on the offer and be happy about it.

Finally some incentives to buy the higher MC packages. From a F2P point of view this is a good move, the timing and other priorities on TBDs is something else.
