Will we get an option to use mouse wheel for zoom? If so please give a timeframe and not a "soon" or "later on". UI related will the chat bug on death ever be fixed?

ETA on mech balanced 8v8 PRE matches ruleset?

And by balanced I mean weight restrictions or mech class restrictions and so on. Because as of now announced 8v8 PRE system makes entire [medium] mech class not viable for team composition building. I.e. why do I need to take mediums in when I can freely build my team around heavies and assaults with single light as a scout? And heavies are in all ways superior to mediums.

Since last patch i have been crashing to desktop alot when game isl aunched is there a fix in the works for that?

Also I see people complianing about matchmatching and new user experience i think a way to help with that is to introduce bot games people can play like league of legends

With the New CAMO SPEC costing MC/CB's to apply, does this mean if I buy a certain Pattern (dazzle) for my Catapult, it will cost me MC to revert to default, and then MC again to go back to dazzle? Or is this a one time cost?

They pick questions they want to answer, and post those answers in a separate thread. Simply looking at past threads would show you the format.

And seriously, there are so many questions being asked that have been answered in past Ask The Devs, or are even in current posts in the Command Chair section. Do some reading people, and don't get pissed when the Devs choose not to answer a question that has already been answered somewhere else.

With the addition of new items in the game (ECM/BAP/FF/DHS,etc) are you going to take another look at payouts at the end of the matches, or repair costs?

As a Founder using a Cataphract with FF armor, my repair bill has made it to 112k, if I didn't have the premium bonus I would be taking a loss for the match. While 112k is on the high end, i generally average 80-90k plus on a losing battle, if I wasn't a Founder that would pretty much make every mission I lose a cash loss or breaking even.


I guess in short, I'm asking that with the new items being added, do you plan on upping the rewards or is that just the cost of using new the new items?

Do you have plans for addressing the abuse of the 75% free rearm? I think it would be much better if you only received your "free" 75% ammo when you paid to top off.

Comms in the beta without using outside voice apps and having texting locking out piloting is very tough.  Any thought to adding some simple F-Key comms to make running drop-in teams easier?
There are a few variations, like having custom bindings, but just having a few standard msgs would be enough to allow a challenge to non-elite pre-mades on voice.
Something simple like the following would be enough as you can jam a key on the run without locking out piloting.
(F1) Tagging [currently locked mech] at [currently locked mech location].  (no lock maybe gives ?? and your current location)
(F2) Multiple contacts at [my mech location].
(F3) Enemy at our base, need help.  
(F4) Cap the enemy base.

Have you ever considered adding remote sensor dispensers to the game?

They would seem ideal to enhance the EW part of the game and as such, I'd like to ask why didn't they get in?

How many Contracts and/or Planets can a Mercenary Corporation harbor at one time? Will they be restricted to a single planet, or can they branch-out and operate on multiple fronts at once (by spreading out their forces)?

I’m holding out on my 3rd Hunchback chassis purchase. Will there be more Hunchback variants introduced? Im kinda holding out for the 4N to be honest.

When will we see critical game breaking and long term bugs fixed? In particular this list
- 5 FPS bug
- CTD on join
- Failure to join game
- Black screen on join
- Crash on killing enemy mech

Do you need anything from us to help you find and fix these? Please ask.

When can we expect some improvements to the netcode such that the lag doesn't impact our ability to hit?
