Loadout manager is saying in this configuration AMS has no ammo?

It doesn't
You appear to have 4 tons of SRM ammo, 2 in one leg, 1 on the other, and one in the CT, but that is all the ammo I am seeing

One of your tons of ammo (the 4th I would assume) should be AMS, not SRM.

I'm actually trying to put that build together, but I'm putting the credits together as I go. Any reason why double heatsink upgrade option would be listed as invalid? Just that I can't afford it yet? Thanks much for patience with n00b questions.

even using the 4SP Variant without any LRM but with a PPC and some ML´s is something to behold.
(and getting rid of the Hunch is worth it..)
i am not getting that many kills, but I get around 4-11 assists per drop on a consistent basis....
Hunchback: there´s no easier transition into MWO than this Mech....

But you got one thing wrong: the purpose of LRM. It's purpose is for disturbing and disabling your target's power to fight back in a brawl, or to suppress enemy frontliners. It's the exact opposite of "lure".

It honestly depends on luck too. I had two hours of hell this afternoon trying to get away from 4th, and before 11 I figured I could give Assault mode a shot, I wiped the floor for two drops and boom! Back to 1st lolol

I would like to inquire what the verdict on the HBK-4P is since Ghost Heat has been implemented.
While chain firing is of course always an answer, I've been under the impression that the option to alpha off that weakened component / exposed back / whatever was a major strength of the 4P.
However, having played the trial Cicada, It seems to me that an Alpha with only 6 MLasers falls just a little short in terms of damage - at least with my keeping-beam-on-target-skills.
So, as of now, I see three options:
- Exchange the MLasers in the Arms / Head with S(P)Lasers. Looks a tad down-grady to me in comparison to the pre-Ghost-Heat-9MLaser-build.
- Run 6 MPLasers. More damage, better to keep on target and I think the HBK could keep enough DHS for that. Of course, that could be done with the 4J just as well.
- Exchange the MLasers in the Arms with LPLasers - on a Thunderbolt, HBK-4P just doesn't work with Ghost Heat.
Thoughts? Opinions? Advice?

I always treated it like the others - just swapping the Hunch-weapon for the lasers (IE the hunch in one group - the arms in another, the head in a third)
The 6 in the hunch are under ghost heat - so no triggering it there unless I get silly and spam all the groups at once.
But then.... I haven't really run that one either.....
