After downloading the new patch i encountered severe shader problems. Maps would look like bogus and missle`s and smoke looked like square`s aswell.
I tried re-downloading the game and re-installing but now the game either crashes before i even get in , our my mech lab has metallic bubble`s in it that look like small watterbaloons and then crashes.
Cant play at all atm because of this and i did update all my drivers and everything i could possibly think off.
please help, my poor mechs are getting rusty like this

-- With the 11/20 patch, performance took a nose dive. Comments were made in the previous feedback thread. I did have decent performance on Caustic Valley, and mostly acceptable performance on River and Forest (Snow). With the 11/27 patch, that is essentiall all gone. Performance markedly worse. Single digit frame rates are persistent when just moving around both versions of Frozen, and the slightest combat on any map (read taking any damage at all) instigates single digit frame rates as well.
-- Performance affected when taking any amount of enemy fire, or when simply moving/twisting on Forest Colony, Frozen City, Frozen City Night, and to a lesser degree on Forest Colony Snow. Performance also affected whenever the ******* Betty speaks up. When she is really blathering on about damage, missles, criticals and the like, I'm watching a still image. Literally. It's like that old joke about muscle cars. Not how many frames per second, but how many seconds per frame. In fact, I am starting to think I need to investigate some sort of sound issue that does not show up in any other application ever, including things like Premiere, After Effects, Soundbooth, etc.
-- All set to default low settings. Changing resolution after 11/20 patch did not resolve, nor did clearing shader cache directory, re-installation of the game client, or the couple of user.cfg solutions I tried from the work-arounds section. For the record, I used those during closed beta to achieve sustained averages in the 40fps territory. I have not taken any steps or changed any settings as of this patch, and outside of dropping my resolution I don't expect I will have time to try. I also don't expect that to do anything to fix it either.
-- Avg mechlab fps unchanged: high 40s to mid 50s. Previous patch 17-23 in game, with drops into the single digits during conditions described above. This patch, 12-15 at best, with the occasional peak into the 20s when nothing is happening. Single digit frame rates as described above, and a couple instances of outright frozen frames during an exceptionally chatty Betty and heavy combat.

I ran the game in windowed mode, 1280x720. All settings low except post-processing. This is what I found:
- moving mouse/torso (without using keyboard): relatively smooth playback
- pressing keyboard (turning the whole mech): heavy stuttering
stuttering calms down when you don't press a key and wait
- pressing keyboard (accelerating, de-accelerating): stuttering
stuttering calms down when you don't press a key and wait
- stationary when in action (just using your mouse): no stuttering or minor stuttering
- not pressing keyboard, mech walking (just using your mouse): minor stuttering
- no matter what you do the sound is cracking and popping
- when entering spectator mode and not touching the keyboard, sometimes everything runs much smoother
Here is the stuttering:

And here is how Crysis2 (achieved with cryengine3) works on my computer

I was surprised you didn't revert that patch.
I'm very surprised you still don't prioritize the performance issues and release some minor content updates instead.
Another week off from mwo.

2. Performance seemed to stay pretty constant in the games I played last night.
3. My current setting are all setting set to very high, motion blur turned off, 1920*1200 resolution
4. 50-70 fps, except when map is loading, FPS never dropped below 50 fps

After this patch however, i am getting huge lag spikes, and my ping is not changing. This lag occurs frequently but is not constant, and many i have played with are experiencing the same thing. I'm even skipping around like a lag-shield jenner at times, and I usually pilot Catapults and Cataphracts! I guess this is the same as everyone else's stuttering problems.
Loving the new night frozen and Betty voice (apart from a lack of nominal systems), but can we fix this stuttering/lag issue? I will have to resort to LRMs and Streaks just to play properly until it's fixed...
Edit: I haven't encountered any framerate issues yet either. Sound is popping and dropping off though.

My settings are all at max with a resolution of 1920x1200 and AA on, or 2880x1800 and downscaling. But in FPS there is no difference. I am always around 55 to 60 fps.
System-Specs:
Internetconnection is VDSL with a download of 50MBit/s and an upload of 10MBit/s and I am playing from germany.

This paticullar Patch did not affect performance in any way. Still a slideshow when moving or in combat.
Video: 1280x1024 full screen w/ v-sync. Video setting at the lowest via options or with a custom config make no difference. Changing resolution makes no difference.
FPS: 60 in the mech lab. Mid-30's after ~15 seconds in a match (single digit until then). Stays mid-30's while standing still. Any movement (forward, torso twist, etc.) and frame rates drop to sub 20's. In combat (close or not) and FPS drops to single digits).
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 @ 3.6Ghz
8GB Ram
Powercolor hd6870
Windows 7 home 64-bit
Game has been unplayable for the last 2 patches.
Quoted (and slightly edited) because these are the exact same problems I got.

This is a general cry for help, I am emailing support this same information. During the past few patches I have slowly been losing frames 5-7 each patch. Addressing your questions firstly.
1. The patch have stolen frames so in just about every map if I turn fast I get sub 20 fps, as I cannot identify any bottlenecks in my setup this is abysmal and makes playing frustrating and makes me not want to log in.
2. Cannot seem to identify any one particular culprit, but lots of mechs shooting makes it tank really hard. Brawls are a spray and pray rather than a nice measured attacks. Not even talking about lagshooting of which I am skilled at. I can regularly hit jenners moving laterally at full speed in the legs with my gauss rifle. I haven't been able to do that for about 3 patches now.
3.My video settings are 1920x1080P full windowed, set on high with no motion blur and AA set to off. In closed beta I ran flawlessly 50-60 frames with everything maxed out. Always run in window but I have tested full screen a lot recently to no avail. Full screen windowed is still broken by the way.
4. My average FPS according to data i came up with yesterday was approximately topping out at 40 fps in game, that was at the very start with no movement. Averages around 15-25 fps, getting much worse with any quick movement or torso twisting or any weapons fire and mechs on screen. In the mechbay a solid 60fps
5. My specs are
[spoiler]
Windows 7 64bit Ultimate, AMD FX8120 8 core stable overclocked to 4.3Ghz, Asus Crosshair V, 8 GB of gskill memory 1866, it WAS running on a 1tb western digital black hard drive now currently on a m3 SSD, A EVGA superclocked GTX570, Also latest Nvidia beta drivers, as well as the previous WHQL drivers I rolled back to out of curiosity. The beta nvidia drivers apparently have MWO performance specific tweaks. Both ver. 310.33 and 306.97 WHQL Driver. I will try the 310.64 BETA Driver today as well.
6. I am in southern California my advertised speed is 30 down 5 up. I have never had such a high ping in a online game since about early 2000's I average around 95 ping.
As an additional note, I have watched my GPU on both a GPU meter, and Precision X, as well as my cores activity on Core temp. I noticed in game i have about 5 cores active which never goes over 50%, and i stay a frosty 32c, my GPU goes to around 48% usage tops in game going no higher than 65c. I cannot identify my bottle neck at all and it is making me crazy. I can run every modern game in the market including far cry 3 at a solid 40+ frames fully maxed out (many much higher than that) on High or ultra. I never go over 60% ram usage.
Also I reinstalled completely thinking I had some bad artifacts left over from my previous closed beta installation yesterday. Nothing seems to help, on advice of forums, i switched multithreading on, and ambient occlusion off, still no change. Please help.
edit: I apparently cannot figure out how to spoiler tag on this forum any advice?

The stuttering and FPS drops still occur when intputing keyboard commands. Its worst during heavy firefights.

BTW when are they going ot add EU servers??? When the game goes live? Before that? After that? Damn I hope this game doesnt fizzle out because of developer incompetence...

Still craptastic fps drops.
80+fps while standing still, 50+fps while spectating, sub 15fps while fighting or moving the torso. Sometimes it drops down to sub 8fps while fighting.
Sound breaks all the time, noticing it more thanks to Betty.
Screen still going dark during fights.
Unplayable.

- How had the patch generally affected your performance?
My General performances has decreased on most maps
- Forest Colony Normal and Winter, before patch i was at a 45FPS avreage, now i'm at 25 FPS with some heavy tearing in the image when fighting
- River City, i have the same FPS as before (arounf 45FPS), but I'm still getting heaving tearing during fights
-Caustics Valley, All smooth, 45FPS and remain smooth during fightings.
- Frozen City Normal, i have the same FPS as before (arounf 45FPS), but I'm still getting heaving tearing during fights
-Frozen City Night, All smooth, so far it's the smoothest map ever, FPS at a steady 60FPS, no tearing. - Whether there are specific points in the game when your performance changes.
My game tend to play as smooth as before, but I've noticed heavy tearing during fast movement or heavy combat, tearing that wasn't there for me before de patch. - What are your video settings, did you change them since last patch?
Before the patch I was playing at 1440x900 Medium setting.
I had to reduce the Graphic to Low to deal with the tearing during fights, but Even at Low, I didn't find and improvement regarding this. - Average FPS ingame and in the menus for previous patch and latest patch (Press F9 to see your FPS)
