Matt Newman is awesome! (even if i do say so myself)
But I only wrote the Update section. The rest of the awesome detailed notes were done by the team and coordinated by Paul I.
We have resources working to improve the networking, performance and technical issues. However these issues do take time and require extra testing to make sure we aren't creating 2 new issues by fixing one.
Edit: AND Matchmaking phase 2 is in testing and barring any major issues should be out next week.

Better yes.
I'm not gonna rate this patch all that highly though because the main things are still in the wind.

*Phase 2 delayed because Cthulhu invaded our offices*

I'm also curious to how the change regarding SSRM location targeting is going to work - might go a ways towards balancing them. Glad to see the Awesome getting some love, though I thought it and the Cataphract already got a reduction - guess we'll see (at this rate, the Hunchie is going to have the easiest-to-hit head of any 'mech in the game!

Mixed feelings on the paint customization - I want it, but I have some misgivings about costs. (Sadly, no one responded to the questions in my thread.

Thumbs up for that!
I still don't understand the decision why a pattern you paid for vanishes if you do another paint job, it should be somehow saved/archived. In any F2P games it usually is a no-no to remove items that were paid for by $$$ or in case that it is something like a one time use item (comes pretty close to the paint job imo), you usually get multiple stacks of said item.

Sounds interesting as well, maybe this will already adjust some "overpoweredness" of Streak missiles that some have felt.

If they can get Matt to do an Elder Sign skin for the next patch, that should resolve the problem.
MWO's showing a common pattern with all MMO's- the more code that's "set in stone", the longer it takes to fix any given problem or even introduce stable changes to said code. There's a reason bigger games have obscenely huge QA/dev staff.

I already paid a pretty massive sum of RMT for Legendary and not going to waste MC's on inane cockpit items and/or camo.
At the very least camo should be C-Bill/MC and cockpit items MC only.
For what else do you want to pay MC???

As for everyone saying "underwhelming"... You say it every patch... Maybe you should lower your expectations a little eh? Jeez... Some people won't be happy unless we get a new mech and a whole new map every week.
Seriously - do people think each patch is a brand new game or something?
