Picture says it all....at start of the game they announced they were going to "defend base". Result should be obvious.

Wait ... I'm confused.

The people playing as a team said to defend the base, and then the PUGs all ran off and died?

Sounds ... normal to me.

Well, that and the part where you lost. Still coming up with new reasons that happens, I see.

Join a merc corp

At least then when you fail spectacularly because half the team did not cooperate you have someone to b**ch about it with!

Even better is when they say "you guys defend base, we'll do all the fighting."

I even had one game where one guy was like "we're a two-man pre-made, let us do the heavy lifting." I ended up with more kills and damage than both of them combined.

When I play *in* a pre-made, I realize it is key to have the whole team fighting together. Sure, you might have a few guys who just sort of wander around or suicide or afk or whatever, but it's just common sense that working *with* the other 4 guys on your team is going to be way more effective than dismissing them entirely.

...Wow you don't realise that it's a link to a bigger image?

Edit : I just changed it to display the bigger image instead of being a link, since the MWO forums doesn't handle image links with thumbnails very well.

So the premade of 4 was supposed to support your "assault team" of 2 even after they asked you to stay and defend? And then you went of as a pair and got wiped and THEY were the Rambos? I do not think that word means what you think it means.

here's the thing, you try to include the puglings in your plan 1/2 the time they'll do the exact opposite (if I ask them politely to set up at the drop ship we'll flank them and hit them from behind invariably 1/2 the pugglings follow us through the cave), in my experience its most of the time (occasionally you get one of the 4 or 5 good pugs that exist) just to get the pubies positioned as normal then use them to tie up the enemy team for a min or 2 while you do your thing and get the win.

So the Premade told the group they were going to defend... and the PUG decided to go OFP... You lose the game and it means the Premade is to blame because *they* thought they could solo the team?

You're right... I like to dive into chocolate with land sharks walking sticks in the retired people's home due to hurricanes.

Your point makes no sense.

Maybe if it was a link to a bigger image. But it isn't.

Which doesn't matter anyway since you ignored me the first time I ever responded to you because I was a 'dirty premade-r'.

Still find it HILARIOUS that you complain all the time about teamwork but refuse to join any kind of premade because they are:

1. Too OP against Lone Wolf Heroes.

2. Worthless prima donna players who blame everyone else for their mistakes who will dc to protect themselves.

AND

3. Horrible bad players who ruin your fun by being collectively worse than the pugs.

wait...one of those doesn't belong here...or maybe it does...

>If 4 guys insist on doing their own thing and ignoring the rest of the team, they are rambos
>if 4 guys group up before the game and insist on doing their own thing and ignoring the rest of the team, the other 4 guys are rambos

Premade logic.

The result should have been that you defended the base with them, thus keeping your strongest 'mechs together. Why didn't you?

This wasn't a case of the 4-man premade running off and trying to take on the whole team themselves - you left them, and you were ineffectual when YOU tried to take on the enemy team yourselves first, leaving them to try and hold off the enemy by necessity.

And your scout was insane.

You may not know this as you don't join premades Jun.

Ever time we spawn on the upper city in river map. We defend top at base cap with missile boats and send brawlers down a little bit in D7 unless other side is coming up the 3/4 line.

What you should have done is make the other team engage on your terms and make them come into the open.

Why are you telling them to do something different than what your team is doing? Most of the time flanking maneuvers and splitting your team are worthless tactics.

It only works if the enemy team isn't organized.
