Mechwarrior 2, I think I was 10 years old at the time.

CHI was my first official BT. After that came the cartoon, and my toys, bushwacker/hatchetman mechs. Then the books, MW2, MW3, MC and MC2, then MW4. MW4 took the last of my high school years and the first of my college thanks to the leagues and my love of the Ryoken (2 ERL, 2 LRM15, 1 LtG). I had finally put it down for two years when a roomate threw a surprise b-day party for his friend and dragged us all out to Chucky Cheese's, crazy freshmen, lol. There I found MW4 as an ARCADE game. Needless to say, high score, by multi million points, so sad and awsome, ha! Now I sit with my prized rare Black Knights from DA awaiting this to come out.....

Crescent Hawk's Inception on an old IBM PC Jr. I remember the offer for the free Phoenix Hawk LAM mini, and the head banging looking for the Cache before checking out the disk. Never really got a chance to play Crescent Hawk's Revenge.

I first started on the table top game. I did get to play in socal a few time in the actual cockpited mech warrior game. I also played a few of the PC games that came out as well. I prefer the table top and the **** pit versions.

Started with Mech 2 for DOS and then went on from there. GBL and Mercs. Mech2 was a fantastic game back in the day. Loved it. The engine was awesome for its day and the music and missions were were a blast.

MW2 in about 1998 is the first I official BT video game I played although I played Heavy Gear I in 97 which is based on the same universe.

Oh my god, MechWarrior 2: 31st Century Combat. From there on I was hooked. MW3, MW4: Mercs, and books, books, books. Favorite Franchise Ever, period. Glory to Clan Jade Falcon and Death to her Enemies.

My first experience with Mechwarrior was on some Sony game disc that my Grandmother got with her VAIO computer in 1995ish.

Mechwarrior 2. Great game, but confused me on the Mech names ever since. Turns out the Mech names in Mechwarrior 2 (from Clan's perspective), are never used in any other game

Still, Mechwarrior 2 FTW!

Mechwarrior 2 was the first I played, it got me interested but I didn't actually put a huge amount of time into it.

Mechcommander was what really hooked me. It's probably my favorite mech game pre-MWO though MW2: Mercs and MW4: Mercs are close. I was so attached though that for a while I set my Windows 98 startup sound to be the bagpipe combat music track. Lots of good memories of the music in general.

First mech games I played? I played the original "MW" along with "Crescent Hawk". I've followed the series ever since. Still waiting for a killer remake of MechCommander. Also played Titans of Steel although ToS is not from out of FASAs world.
