Any mech I haven't piloted in prior mechwarrior games would be cool. The Battlemaster being high on that list even if it's a reseen. My chosen TT mech for a long time was a Shadow-Hawk, but since it's an unseen, I won't get my hopes up. For clan tech, the Nova was always a fav of mine.

Any time I read this combination of words, or anything expressing similar preference, my mind is boggled. Even among the limited class of "55 ton Unseens" the SHD ran a distant third behind the GRF and WVR in terms of effectiveness by any measure.

One could argue that with a variety of mechs. All a matter of preference and play style.

Of the annouced mechs I'd have to go with the spider. I'm in love with the artwork MWO has for it.

Oh, I used to play that mech quite a bit in MW4... big and tall, feels like a boss LOL! :P

I did as well. x4 LB 20-X AC killed most mechs in one shot, two for assaults.

Of the announced mechs, Spider, and Highlander.
Spider to jump across maps, Highlander for "Direct Fire Support".

Summoner and Timber Wolf. Once the other announced IS mechs are released, I'll have the favorite IS mechs already.

Bane 3 - This design changes the weapons configuration totally. Eight LRM-15 provide fire support, while sixteen tons of ammunition proves sufficient for the design. A One-Shot Streak SRM-4 provides one-time close support. Nineteen double heat sinks are up to the task of keeping the design cool.

Pull out the LRMs, add in 8 SSRMs and you have 100 tons of SSRM goodness, most likely 8 SSRM6s.
