The sad part is that many of the guys claiming that they hate rolling pugs and want true 8v8 will be back doing 4 man premades to make money once their win % drops drastically in 8v8. Most of the players doing premades are very average, the good teams will eat them up and spit them out like there's no tomorrow. It will actually be quite hilarious.

But at the end a week or two at the most the 4 man premades will spring back to life in full glory to beat up on pugs. I wonder what their excuse will be then?

Exactly what Ihave already experienced in wow  . Premade meets Premade in pvp match. One premade drop the match to find another against a pug. Has been common practice , later blizz changed this i believe by spliting queue .
Premades do not clearly want a fight , in the first place they want to rule .

Actually this is funny...the choice to pugroll! Mad skills n stuff! My choice...

Wow what is funny is your lack of reading comprehension. It is the choice as a PUG to face off against whatever comes down the pipe. Believe it or not, some of us actually enjoy a challenge. 8v8 premade is great, and needed, but options are always better than lack thereof.

Hmmm, got some nice data to back that up? The only ones I know of that will be doing that are the Epeen Brigades who worry more about their K/Dr than anything else. And most of the more serious units find them to be laughable anyhow. Since stats mean nothing to me, and since, somehow, even with my non founders PUG account, I seem to always MAKE money, I think this is more crying over fictitious boogeymen.

Basically, since the evil pre-made myth (Since most of the assumed Premades turned out to be pugs who.. OMG!... used some coordination.) seems to get debunked at every turn, I guess you have to keep making up something to explain away your own lack of wins? We all know that perception IS reality for most after all.

how do you know this? could be 4 +4 or 4 +1+1+1+1 for all YOU know.

You and Pguk are really going to go there?

I knew right from the start that that pic was from the early open beta. It was a very very common occurrence to see exactly that type of end stats, with the entire other team having founders tags.

I suppose, if you wanted to stretch the boundaries of disbelief, you could say that was a fluke of statistical odds. I would love to see the probability of 8 solo founders being paired with 8 solo noobs. Someone do the math. Now compound that by the fact that this was happening at least 2 out of 3 games. Sorry, any rationally thinking person wouldn't buy your argument.

There's no need to split PUGs away from premades further than what they are now.

What's needed is splitting Trials away from non-Trials. Most of your suiciders/AFKers and the like are in Trial 'Mechs anyway. Leave them to their idiocy and let the PUGs who actually make the effort and play in customs able to play with a minimum of annoyance and lost team members. Plus, keeping Trials in their own area means that you don't see second-rate target practice vs. people who know what they're doing and have the 'Mechs to back it up.

My KD ratio is Ketchup colored still (less than one) and I AM Lone/Pug. Been here for a while and i see a LOT of teams VS Pug, but...

According to a recent survey conducted by me just now, I am having a lot of fun BEING OUTGUNNED
My win/loss K/D and avg. XP will help match me up in the next matchmaking phase??
well i guess i'm gonna be set to easy matches then, they are low (er) now.

Nothing jacks my learning curve up like being stompied bya 8 man cockpit cru (or if u are fem a Box Office batch) Learn: use cover, shoot straight etc. Buy a mech and Run the Xp out of it Upgrade stuff etc.

Here's a big tip for all you new (er) players: i see a LOT of people trying to play this game with JOYSTICKS don't make me laugh ...Get a Keyboard and Mouse the thumb stick is obviously bad! Yeah i been spectating, watching my last 4 team mates Lumber around all Nimbly bimbly shooting NOTHING cuz they can't aim at anything. May also be lag?

I have been stompin hard on mechs, I shoot straight. Matchmaking is better when it's balanced, yes and Comms Options are necessary for Non-Mic players (i type fast on the keys in battle) I just hope the farming issues don't get worse with segregation of player types and skill levels. Damn AFKers. Anyway. And Yes, I Kill Premades with joysticks  See you reel soon! WOOT

Trials should be segregated.... yes. send them to Antares 8 out near the periphery

So if I am pugging most of the time - why am I not EVER put on these pug teams that used coordination? Seems kind of odd doesn't it? You would think my chances of being on the pug team that decides to co-ordinate would be 50-50 wouldn't you?

You also bring up my lack of wins.....kind of odd as well since 'stats mean nothing' to you by your own statement. Do you know what my win/loss and k/d ratio are? I didn't think so. I will say this though, somehow my skill level improves tremendously when I do premades, because for some strange reason my win % goes up to damn near 100% just by joining a premade. I do the same amount of damage, use the same mechs, but I instantly start winning almost every single game. Very strange how that works.

There will be a large movement of fail pre-mades trying to hide in the PUGS after next patch. A lot of people clamoring before to play 8 mans will suddenly have a smaller group of 4 friends now after getting stomped by good pre-mades. Most of these folks want to steamroll and ego strokes, the rest was mostly smoke screen.

Exactly.

There are good, hardcore teams out there that want nothing more than to have a competitive 8v8 environment. I have no doubt of that, but a large percentage of those doing premades want nothing more than the easy wins, hell I've even fell prey to it. After losing 8 or 9 in a row, it gets discouraging as hell pugging. I've got a decent sized friends list from closed beta and I have jumped into premades 2 or 3 times since open beta started. It's ridiculously easy, but with that being said, after losing constantly for days, it was a nice break.

Yes, a historic team game should break its legendary mold so that you and 90% of the player base will be happy.

Hey stupid, 90% of the playerbase is probably Founders and mostly Fanatic about the core of what MechWarrior is and is not.

Do us all a favor and just stand there and die.

Premades or not, I would already be a very happy weasel if the matchmaker wouldn't match a trial Atlas-K against a fully modified Founders Atlas. Or a trial Cat against a Gauss Cat, or even worse a trial Jenner against an ES+FF+XL+DHS Jenner..
Oh and if client stability and the economy were fixed so there were no crashes, AFK'ers, suicide farmers or teamkillers anymore.

It's not one thing that breakes the game at the moment. It's a whole lot of (small'ish) things combined.

@budor-

Yes, I do believe that joining a team makes you better, because teams practice, and share information, and coach newer players constantly to teach them the game and unit tactics. Plus, all is being coordinated by the Drop Commander, so the new guys don't have to be taxed with the overall strategy while wrestling with the already substantial pilot-load. Honest feedback given to the players bring them up to speed rather quickly.

Caveat: Personal skill, experience, ping times, and potential to learn notwithstanding. Some people are destined to be adequate, at best. Some people are destined to be great. But, you gots to play the cards you are dealt.

90% of pre-mades will play with 8 man groups. Moreover I think people 'blame' premades when things go sour more often than is the case. I even find myself assuming so if I lose at times if I'm pugging or whatever. Not sure it's very accurate, sometimes people 'JUST' out do you that game, such is war.

Everytime I get focus fired I'm go, Damn premades!

Then I remember I was in my cataphract and they just saw me eat their hunchback vanguard in 7 seconds.

I hear ya bro!

I've found that, typically, it's a couple really good pug players that carry the team. These are the players that know that they have to be exceptional if their team is going to win.

I have no desire to fight new players in trial mechs, but I also have no desire to fight 4 mans using a voip crutch. Just give me a level playing field so I know my stats are a clean and accurate gauge of my skills.

Perhaps a tier system. Tier one are new players in trial mechs. Tier 2 are owned mechs with a low number of battles. Tier 3 owned mechs with a high number of battles.

Hopefully, we'll end up on the same team someday.

Yeah there should never be a situation where pug's face organised groups and if the so called group players had any skill at all they would be backing this 100% but if you check similar threads they argue against this. I guess they just like easymode and Premade v Pug is as easy as it gets and it is ruining this game for new players and lone wolf players.

MWO is just as much a solo game as it is a group game, people have different lives and some, like me hardly ever have time to run in a group, I rely on being able to jump in for a quick solo game and expect to have fun, premades make this game no fun and no fun = no spending on MC and that means game loses money which means game goes bust.

All we need is an option to join a solo queue, how hard must that be to implement? No problem at all and it fixes everything, it's a no brainer.

well since u posted ur opinion.. here mine

i think u just don't like fighting skilled players and have no skill of your own...period ..

and u r wrong...its the lone wolf puggers that are ruining or going ruin a team based game for the TEAM PLAYERS.

you go back to COD, tard. YOU go play another premade vs premade , do not touch us. how do i coordinate pug is my thing, you stay in yor premades. thats the point. you stay outside, and WE (puggers) will again enjoy this game .
WITHOUT elitist premades. We dont need you.

your wrong...this game was never meant for lonewolf pukes like u... there nothing elite about it

what u guys fail to comprehend is that this game was never meant to be CoD of BF3 for YOU..

yea premade vs premade will be here tuesdays...

guess what....that unfortunately sets the tone for how MWO and the community warfare will be built to cater to the pugs from here on out.. wich will probably mark the beginning of a far more greater amount of players not playing..

understand....pugs are the minority here..
