Btw there should be 2 separate categories on who were the best 3rd person and who were best at FFP. 2 totally different playstyles.

Yea, they just made a million plus off of founders.. and want us to pay for everything.

I think it's ridiculous. I guess it is open to the public... but at least give out a surprise drawing here for free passes/room+board/etc

I don't blame them, that **** is expensive. It's more of an 'enthusiasts with money to burn' kinda shindig. Don't get me wrong, I wanna participate, but I don't want wanna go all the way to California on my own dime to play MechWarrior lol.

All of the official zone tournaments were jokes. Anyone remember the MW3 Meltdown.

I perfered the league tournaments. SL, BZ, & VL.

Yep, I remember winning a VL 8v8... best gaming experience ever. I got the game winning kill with a split second left. Was MKG_Mantis and his crew vs me, EDGE and a few others in Inner City. Damn, I wish I could remember who else was with Mantis in that match. Was 2 teams of the top players at the time in VL. Pretty sure Hotshot(?) was with Mantis too.. Man it was so long ago I can't remember anyone else

Looking around the forums, this catches my eye and makes me instantly wish I'd been a part of it all :'(
Having never seen these warriors in action, one can only imagine the intensity of their battles and hope MWO is going to be just as, if not more, exciting, tense and explosion-filled
Currently playing MW:LL at the moment and loving it, there's a number of excellent warriors whom I've fought with and against in it too, but not integrated into the community there enough to be able to rattle off names

Yea I've done a lot of cool things in my life and met a lot of people.. but my experience with Mechwarrior 4 and Mercs is up there with the best moments of my life. Specially winning close games, the rivalries and friendships I made over the years. Can't beat a good wingman - one who knows you very well and knows what you are thinking. I've been in several epic battles.

Two best games I ever played (as far as tactics, teamwork, etc) have gotta be

Mechwarrior 4 (Mech 4 Mercs)
Planetside

Now I'm hoping MWOMercs and Planetside 2 are equally as good.. hopefully better!

Twas good times but it def takes a back seat to university for me. 4 years of alcoholism and ummm... learning stuff.

Well, duh. I use to hang out on the IU campus every weekend. IU was the #1 party college in the USA at one time.

Pullin in b**ches, getting drunk with friends and bsing is all good. That's a given.. but with that said let me give you an example.

This weekend I spent time with friends out at my buddies farm. We drank, swam, rode my quad around and shot about 100 skeet with my 12 gauge. All fun.. but I'd still trade it for a good Mechwarrior 8v8 with some buddies.. dominating ****'s like Destro

Same goes about the "club" life. It was cool back when I was 21-26 years old. Gets old quick.. and I havn't played Mechwarrior in like 10+ years. I'm almost 30, getting married in 1 week, and I have a son. Oh, and let's not forget I own a business and I'm in the process of opening a store front ( http://www.iRepairIndy.com ) ..... I'd love to play some Mechwarrior right now. lol

I'm not sure yet.. depends where Hostile Takeover(Ht) goes.. so most likely NC but maybe TR.

My main character was NC with the last game.
