Though one good thing came of it. I just tried a build with 4 AC/5's....it was horrible I chewed through mechs in no time! Fun time for me ;p

My merc group and I have seen SRM6's lock up (full cooldown bar), and pretty much all autocannons (ac/2 through ac/20). Really annoying bug.... as if dealing with the new ECM wasn't hard enough! :)

Same just happened to me with SRM6's so I can confirm this to be the case as well.

Today during a match after firing my UAC-5 it randomly jammed without the "weapon jammed" alert or text turning red on the weapon hud. The weapon recycle bar was frozen on 0% recycle (the bar was full orange). My UAC-5 remained jammed this way the entire match and changing weapon groups, selecting and unselecting the weapon did not help.

Haven't been in today yet, but I have seen them jam on the first shot as in out of the gate, press fire and no boom, just jam. they are only supposed to jam on the second shot when fired during cool down.

I have had it happen to the SRM-4 on my Commando-2D. No damage, cooldown bar just stopped moving

Just picked up the new hero mech and put some ultras on it, same thing. After a few shots the reload bar stayed full. Jamming is understandable, but out for the whole game isn't.

Since we now have this confirmed and there's also a dev thread with a pool about it, I'll mention something sorta related here...

In the "Weapon Balance" thread in the command chair there's a mention of the new projectile speeds coming to ballistic weapons. The UAC/5 is curiously missing from the list, though hopefully it's just an oversight and it'll get the same treatment as the AC5.

Yes, twin LB10x mounted on a DC atlas. Clearly still had armor over the guns, and had 35 rounds left in reserve. Weapons refused to fire.

Ok, just played a bunch of rounds using 2 UAC5's and no perma jam UNTIL I tried switching to CHAIN FIRE. 2 rounds and both times they both perma jamed with a couple seconds.

And the kicker? chain fire prevents double fire mode. When using chain fire in the past, UAC's don't do the double fire. Even fast clicking the mouse button, didn't seem to make them double fire. Yet then now both perma jam in seconds with chain mode.

In normal mode, UAC5's jam so much, they are nearly useless.

Thank god, was sure I was losing it!
Been getting some really awkward weapon jams, UAC/5, LBX, SRM's and SSRM2 so far...

Hotfix will be much appreciated

This happens on my RS and Founder atlases with SRMs. Somtimes it stuck with full reload for a 1-3 minute, somtimes - permanently. But not that often as UAC-5 - 4 times in 16-17 matches.
Same was with LRMs in group that binded to 3d or 4th mouse button. But same weapon binded to mouse1 or mouse2 is all right.

I know there's a perma jam bug around so just wondering, since uac5 perma jamming have been near constant.

Unfit the weapons (UAC or any other weapon that is doing this).
Save the Configuration.
Refit the weapons.
Save the Configuration.
Do this every time you load in the game (after crashes or normal shut down). It seems to fix it until the next client restart.
