Question, scout wise what can we bring to the table that the Commando and Raven can not do better:?
Just curious

As such he has not and does not use the Jenner for scouting, instead he relies on Commandos or Ravens to do this job when he is not himself using either of those two mechs.

I played a game a few minutes ago against a ecm raven and it was nearly impossible to kill. The jenner would be even worse.

Commando=
+ Size
+ Speed(Fastest speed but only barely)
+ ECM
- Dies Easily
Raven=
+ Speed
+ Armor
+ ECM Platform
+ Decent Armament
Jenner=
+ Size
+ Speed
+ Armor
+ Best Armament of the Light Mechs
Without ECM the Jenner is the clear light mech of choice, which is what makes this patch so interesting on a balance level. There are reasons to use the other light mechs now.

The JR10-X had Angel ECM.
I think you meant that lore wise there has never ever been a Commando or Cicada with ECM, and that would be correct.

So... you are wanting a mech variant that will cause as much crying as the Streak Cat or Gausspult?
If you are using those mechs as an example, then you can see why it probably wasn't made possible.

QFT - the Jenner is a fast and ultra nimble hit and run mech, scouting via regular sensors, maybe BAP and eyeball Mk I.
It is not supposed to be an e-warfare mech.

JR10-X is out of the timeline.

I am wanting nothing other than opinions, someone stated the Jenner has no ECM and I merely countered with whats in the game. The point which apparently was missed is simple. This is not TT or Cannon, you can only go by it so much. Balance being the main reason.

Not quite a streak cat, but close enough for government work.

True ... but that was a unique custom built unit. Not a production line mech.
