I like the idea with a flush. They'll probably be expensive (and as I understand it, can be bought with both mc and c-bills, please correct me if I'm wrong) and we don't now the full effect they will have, maybe you're forced shut down while the coolant does it's thing? That would be some kind of balance.

if not, P2W

Hyperbole... the best way to make any feedback entirely pointless. :D

Oh, come on now... You know that isn't going to fool anyone here don't you?

Actualy i dont care even the slightest if anyone thinks i am gona troll their favorite game or not. If things like over 6 months "payed" beta is something normal and the whole gaming industry should adapt to this new developement style, then its your opinion and i respect it. Pls respect mine if i say its complete Bull....

But instead you could have answered my question about metagame and pugstomping. Thx

This, the community like to jump to conclusions before seeing details and its depressing.

It's not like it's never been brought up and discussed before. During CB, it was quite clear that any form of coolant flush was unacceptable. Coolant Pods (as per TT) were generally acceptable. However, despite the vigorous discussions in CB, they have chosen to use the label 'Coolant Flush.' People don't care how it is implemented because we were given the impression it would never be implemented in any way, shape, or form. It's not neccessarily a case of jumping to conclusions; some of us thought that the conclusion had already been reached.

Seriously, energy weapons already got buffed enough and no one was really complaining about heat management except for trial mechs, so why the hell are they introducing coolant flush in the game?

Several threads were made about this and the general consensus was that we didn't want that feature in the game, it was potentially too game breaking and gave too much of an advantage to energy heavy mechs (which are already doing very well currently).

I gotta admit, I'm disappointed... feels like PGI is taking the path to the dark side...

I'm so glad you are the community spokesperson and knows exactly what every single player in MWO wants.

Not enough info to know, you have to make wild assumptions to make a decision.

Only yes or no? Poor poll tbh.

PGI said there would never be coolant flushes, so this better be good.

Reminds me a bit of 3rd person perspective, but this could just be the early results.

Anyway, maybe we complained too much about their heat system. And they thought "previous MW titles didn't have these complains. Let's put in coolant flush, those games had that, too, that must fix it!?"

Though to be honest, more likely to me is. "Coolant Flush was in previous game.s How do we model this in MW:O?" and they picked it as a module.

I'm absolutely loving the new patches! They have an AMAZING new map called Alpine. It is BEAUTIFUL and finally a large map. They also fixed the lag shield and did a good deal of rebalancing.

While I for one never quit, I'd say it is worth coming back to...Of course I could be byist because I absolutely love MWO...

OMG! Finaly.... thank you for a real info. Considerable larger Map! THATS realy good news. Thank you and belive me i love MWO too, just not a blind fanboy.

I bet it will be very good, good enough that you'll need to take it every match so you can compete against others using it.

I too have left and now I have came back. Will I stay forever and play everyday for weeks and weeks and weeks?

NO, eventually, i will take another break and ... so what? There is no "raid" or "progression" - and if I leave and come back and there are new mechs and new equipment it brings me joy and I get to play again. I am not the type of person who can play FPS for days on end - so I do not mind if I take breaks - and you should too, OP - IMHO.

It's a one-time use and it eats up a module slot.

Sounds awfully familiar, give or take the technical details.

Not everyone will have it, and I think it's an interesting way to use modules. I'm much more excited about Long Toms and the like.

that's what I don't understand... I recall at some point PGI said they wouldn't put coolant flush in the game, and many threads were made about this and people felt it SHOULDN'T be in the game. They had done a good job listening to the community so far and I don't understand the reasoning behind this decision to introduce coolant flush.

Because some people will pay for it with MC. And they need money.
