MC player: 1 module slot, 1 x 35% flush.
CB player: 2 module slots, 1 x 15% flush, 1 x 20% flush.

I'd say that the MC player is gaining a significant advantage over the CB player.

You forgot to mention that the CBill variant gives you two separate opportunities to flush coolant whereas MC is one shot per match and it's gone.

oh?.. the fact you can get the same 35% coolant flush with c-bills or MC is p2w now?

i'd actually consider the fact that you get two smaller flushes for c-bills to be an advantage for that setup.. aside from the fact it takes two module slots

that said, i'm against the whole idea of coolant flush in the first place. but i fail to see how the current implementation is p2w

You get more module space.

And there's also going to be MC versions of the others, if I read right. That means if you don't use the MC version, you use 2 slots to get to the 35%. And what if you only have one module slot?

An MC payer could get gold flush, gold airstrike, and gold arty. A c-bill player could get poor flush, poor flush (which combined make 1 gold flush), and one arty or airstrike, also non gold.

you can fit 1 large cooling flush 1 arty and 1 airstrike... provided the mech HAS the slots... and 1 advanced sensor module... for mc

And you can do the same with CB. So what's the pay to win part?

LOL.

Flushgate, 3050.

Yeah, on paper, it's pay to win. You basically pay for an extra module slot. I've said my piece in a number of different threads. The pay to win route (if they do take it) is just not something I can get behind. Regardless, I will test these changes when they go live, and provide feedback etc.

Not exactly impressed with my posts being deleted, I realize this is Piranha's server and forums, but they were not offensive in any way, they were constructive, and relevant to MWO.

Piranha -5.

Except this isn't what the post said, and all you're doing is spreading FUD based on your poor reading comprehension.

Believe me, PGI is well aware of this thread. Yes, there are many posts that get forwarded on (usually based off succinctness and appropriateness ) however ,I can assure you ALL of the posts in here will be read by those who need to.

Sure, you take that second 20% flush. I'll take a single 35% flush and an Air Strike.

Given an equal amount of module slots, having the MC one take less slots for the same benefit enables someone who pays real money to take additional benefits someone who doesn't pay cannot take; practically the definition of pay to win.

Since I cannot find the correct topic due to lockouts.

Player A:
Cbill 15%
Cbill 20%
Cbill Airstrike

Player B:
MC 35%
MC Airstrike
MC Artillery

Assuming both are equally skilled players... Who has the clear advantage?

It's not pay to win.

Prove me wrong.

Player A is a free player, Player B is a pay player.

Both players have a mech with 1 mod slot. Both players also mastered this mech, so they get +1 mod slot. note that not all Players will have a mastered 1 mod slot mech.

Now, Player A buys his Item A tier 1 and 2 consumables with CB. Player B buys his Item A tier 3 consumable. Player A now has 0 slots free, Player B has 1. Now Player B can buy Item B Tier 3 consumable, Player A is SOL. Player B can also use another Mod instead of a consumable, again Player A is SOL.

It might not be game breaking, but it is a advantage, and its only the start. Its setting a president.

NO, you CANT, You will not have enough module slots, Alot of mechs only have 1 or 2 module slots .

What? No, if you had 3 module slots, to get as much as a gold flush, you'd have to use 2 slots, meaning you only get to choose arty or airstrike, but not both.

Ok,

The C-Bill version totals at 35%.
The MC version totals at 35%.

The C-bill version takes up 2 module slots.
The MC version takes up 1 module slot.

You pay for an extra module slot, thus pay to win.
