A [much better] lobby system is the other failing. If you were dropped into a lobby where you could coordinate your drop with as a PUG then things would be much better all around. (e.g. 'Who has ECM?
Who's scouting? etc...)

That stealth-like ability is CLEARLY mechwarrior game implement.In TT ECM there is not ANY f*cking word about decreasing/jamming sensors/radar if you stay 180m+ away from mech w/ ECM.

to clarify...
If you have BAP you can detect enemy ECM covered mechs farther out (say 400 meters instead of 200) and you don't suffer disruption unless the enemy ECM mech is within 90 meters of you instead of 180.

The reality though... is that PGI has already spent several weeks/ or even months developing this ECM and very little is likely to be changed with it any time soon, if ever.

- Display ECM radius on minimap
I can not recall at the moment how MW4 handled ECM

I think ECM cover field should be reduced, WAY to big (180m / 590ft ). 90/100m should be better and still be able to cover and friend or 2 not WHOLE team.
BAP being an active probe should increase radar range vs. ECM.
Also players need to get use to it and read how it works and can be countered like any new item.

-Increased Lock time for direct fire
-Cannot see enemy ECM field
-Allow players to see an aproximation of the enemy ECM by a disturbance/distortion on the map
Sensor improvements
-Active (Affected by ECM)
-Passive (Can target ECM user ONLY, with LRM/SSRM etc)
-BAP (Reduce ECM field for BAP user when in range equal to the % bonus of improved sensor range)

I believe it is radius. Mechs are affected 180m from the ECM equipped mech

I also support direct lock on for LRMs so long as they have the enemy targets within their LoS

I think the only thing needed is to not permit stacking of ecm effects so there is no point of having a Raven swarm on the field.
