Hm, well, you read my statement, then you tell me where u went wrong by re-wording my statement. Let's not derail the topic, though...
"Everyone loves ECM" = not true
"Everyone hates ECM" = not true...
"Some people like and some people don't like ECM" = true but who the heck would write such a dumb statement...?
If every one always wrote the truth about other's opinions, then they would all read like, "This is a pretty cool but not so cool feature depending on who you ask. Some people like it and some people don't. Free will prevails..." Not very exciting.
Now back on topic.
I didn't re-word your statement. You're talking in absolute's, as in everyone either loves it or everyone hates it. Either way, who really cares.

If they said that every one hates ECM, they would be lying...
A simple true statement... just stop.

Apparently you don't understand what an absolute is.
Back on topic pls.

I disagree with what you said, but if they made it that you can target an enemy mech, but not lock-on, while under the effects of ECM, then I guess your suggestion would make more sense. If people could fire SSRM without a lock, that would be dumb.

The patch notes themselves contain similar tongue in cheek delivery http://mwomercs.com/game/patch-notes
I am going to be honest with you ECM is a game changer so let us know how you feel about ECM on the forums because lately I think you guys have been holding back and not telling us how you really feel.

WHAT?!?! people in THIS forum complaining about anything and everything ever regardless of what it does or doesnt do?
I have said it before, but it bears repeating:
If MWO caused 10 $20.00 bills to shoot out of your computer after each match, some people would complain the the serial numbers were not in sequential order.

And then claim that the human civilization is at risk of dying due to it...
...And then we send Bruce Willis to save the day

Judging by the responses in this thread I can't blame them. Too much effort to sift through tons of stupid for grams of smart.

Sorry to say that, but it's no Joke. They putt the before so the Sarcasm ends there.
The Editor may have been in Humorous Mood, but it's an official Announcement and Sarcasm or
Funny comments should be Marked. As he marked it before and then not... it is not Humorous.
And personally i can't take it Humorous as i am no longer able to Play MWO, thanks to the ECM Module.
And thats something an Editor for an official Webside should consider, that lot of people have different points of view and may take something serious when it is not clearly marked.
Btw i would pay a lot for Mech Figures... i already did and have a collection worth around 5k € in
Mech Figures..

Absolutley. I mean, there are still people out their who didn't get the joke when George W. Bush jr. was made president of the US. Because they were NO FRIGGIN SMILIES in the announcement! And see what happened? The joke ran to death for 8 years! All because someone thought people would get the joke.
