In most cases, it is better to get a single, faster card. A geforce GTX 670, or Radeon HD 7970 would probably be your best bet if you have the budget. With the Radeon HD 7970 only coming $30 more than the cheapest 670 now, and coming with 3 games, if you don't already have those 3 games, and don't have a preference in companies, it is probably the better buy. Or if you use GPGPU or overclock your GPU. If you need a low power draw system however, the 670 is of course the way to go.

Anyone else think this should be pinned?

Hey OP, can you put another misconception on there? That faster clock speeds don't necessarily mean faster CPUs, or for that matter GPUs? What matters more now a days is the archatecture, controller, and a whole bunch of other factors. Just because an old Celeron D can be pushed over the moon and beyond in terms of clock speed doesn't necessarilly mean that its the best processor out there.

Vulpes: I was leaning toward the 670 already, since I've had better luck with NVidia in the past

this is quite true, however I haven't been hearing it so much of a heavy misconception as of late, however I think I will add it anyhow at some point soon.

As it is, AMD has been doing very well in the driver department lately, far more so than ATI ever did. But, in the end there won't be much of a performance difference, although in my personal opinion the 7970 is a better value overall.

hey, I don't want them pinned for my sake, But for the sake of those who want answers quickly and don't necessarily want to start a new thread. Besides, otherwise I have to keep bumping them to keep them visible for newbies.

Even the stick you can move with your thumb that is normally used to look around the cockpit only worked in 1 direction.
Just when i send it back they send an e-mail saying that my money will be refunded (normally they look for a new one but it looks like they are all out).

I haven't tried the x52pro but I have a cougar. The cougar is a nice stick for flight sims but its a bit on the stick side for something like MWO. I used Thrustmaster setups from the most basic FCS to the FLCS to the F22pro. Just my opinion but I think you wouldn't like the stiff feeling of a Cougar for a game like MWO. At its roots MWO is a first person shooter in a mech and twitch reflexes are important.

Also a great right up about joysticks, I've been using them for years and did't know a lot of the stuff posted here.
