big boost. Its like at least as good as closed beta performance.
cpu usage is now around 90-95% instead of being pegged at 99.
dying to see if I turn shadows on what happens.. I suspect they were killing fps for me.. we will see.
Thank you for letting us turn them off.
Still would love to see two sets of sliders in advanced vid settings. One set for cpu intensive, the other for gpu..

Your "patch" sucks, just like every other patch before it.
Oddly, every other game runs like clockwork.
On the bright side, the opposite team is always guaranteed a virtual 8v7 in every drop I take, so at least 7 other players will experience suckage in every drop I'm in.
And I'll be dropping to watch the freeze frames as much I can. Up yours.

Game is much smoother today than it was when I played last. I rewarded PGI for this, by buying the Flame mech.

Absolutely amazing difference over recent patches. I'll put more details in the official feedback thread, but I'm seeing peaks ~75fps spectating. Unpossible. Some dips from time to time, but nothing lower than mid-high 20s (low end cpu with decent vid card). Averages over a few games seem to be around the 40s with low gfx settings at 1080x1920. ~50fps panning across the underground waterfall on Forest Colony. FOREST COLONY!!!! Baffling. Nice to see that map at a decent frame rate at last. Not enough matches today to be scientific about it, but performance seems quite improved overall.
For folks having problems:
nVidia recently released a new driver. I updated (clean install) before re-installing MW:O. As a matter of course I did a fresh install of the MW:O client. Could be worth trying.

I've reinstalled twice and have the latest drivers. I was playing the a few hours before the patch with no problems.

So, how come this patch has given some people an insane FPS boost and yet others an FPS crash?
