the post may be old but still deals with the same problems as before. It will help the creators by seeing a pattern with this problem and the patches with the network if its all in one area.

Had a lag issue earlier today, checked with TWC test and it was my connection to them.
Checked recently, connection fine so I try running MWO.
First it would not let me login TWICE, both time saying some kind of Network Error message.
Give it a third try, login but loading Mechs, MechBay and Pilot Trees is slow.
Try a Conquest Match, just get started on River City, was moving from Epsilon to Sigma when, BAM, Disconnect.
Quit, try rebooting computer to clear out possible overhead in memory, etc.
Loading Mechs, MechBay and such is AGAIN slow.
Try another Conquest match, Forest Colony Snow, got in, managed to fire some then BAM disconnect again.
Not me or provider, the speed test I use from them shows the connection is fine.
I have no idea how to check to the MWO servers.
Even this site is slow compared to others, login here is slow, and I had to type this message twice, first time posting it was slow and did not show.

When I first log into the game it takes about 1min for my mechs to show up, but my C-Bills and MC show up fine.
When I launch a match I can get to the match lobby then it closes me out with the "session was lost error".
I use Cox Cable.

It worked fine last I played, exactly 13h and 50 minustes ago, but now:
It took me many attempts before I managed to log on to the web site and even once on it is very slow and unstable I get many time out and page not foud.
As for the game itself, I had to stop the process 3 times and restart it before I finally go to the login page, before that the process would just stay in the background with no apparent sign that anything was happening. Then when I try to login I get : Network Request Timed Out 3 times out of 4.
And the one time that I do get in, before my Mech list is updated, I get : A Network Error Occured.
And get kicked back out.
So Basically my reward for buying a year premium time yesterday is not being able to play today lol
Seriously, I thing the game is coming on great,
Keep up the good work and get me back in soon please
P.s.:Before you ask, Yes I restarted the computer and re-installed the game, the problem still persist.
I did many successful speed test and played other online games with no problem.
Any Other suggestion ?

Can TCP connections from 2 different IPs with same port connect to the same IP and port, as seen above, without causing issues?
I have AT&T U-verse High Speed Internet Max Turbo package (24Mbps downstream).

It's the server. Why bother doing all that when it's on their end? If it were you, would there be 2 pages of people posting about this tonight?
lol when I wrote my post, there was no other showing, the last post I could see was from the 19th Feb !!!
And of course the web page was showing Game and Login Servers : Online.
By the way, what is the point of having a server status page if it doesn't actually reflect the server's status ???

LOL I know how you feel. I've said the same thing many times but, as much as I bag on the devs about certain things, I have to say they're not the only ones to do this.
League of Legends does the same thing. It's actually a running joke among the community at this point. There's even been plenty of times where the forums will have a notification, but they still don't update the status page. I'm not sure why so many are willing to let this tool slip through their fingers, but it's not just PGI.
