Ravens are the slowest lights in the game.
If we get that speed limit lifted, they get nerfed, hard.

ON1-K - "standard variant", available since 2456
x2 Medium Lasers (LA, RA)
x1 LRM-15 (LT)
x1 SRM-4 (LT)
x1 AC/10 (RT)
ON1-V - available since 2799
x2 Medium Lasers (LA, RA)
x1 LRM-15 (LT)
x2 SRM-4 (LA, RA)
x1 AC/10 (RT)
ON1-V-A - available since 2901
x2 Medium Lasers (LA, RA)
x2 SRM-4 (LA, RA)
x1 AC/10 (RT)
ON1-V-DC - available since 2913
x2 Medium Lasers (LA, RA)
x1 LRM-15 (LT)
x2 SRM-4 (LA, RA)
x1 AC/10 (RT)
x1 Command Console
ON1-M - available since 3049
x2 Medium Lasers (LA, RA)
x1 LRM-20 (LA)
x1 SRM-4 (LT)
x1 Narc Beacon Launcher (CT)
x1 LB 10-X AC (RT)
x2 CASE (LT, RT)
Personally, I'm hoping that we get the ON1-K, ON1-V-DC, and ON1-M.
Optionally, the ON1-V could also be included.
The ON1-V-A could be created from the ON1-V in the MechLab by removing the LRM launcher and adding armor.
Potential Hero characters include:
- MechWarrior Sylvan Greenspan (Wolf's Dragoons; 'Mech named "Phoenix")
- Colonel Tomaso Kinchurhara (1st Regulan Hussars)
- MechWarrior Yvonne Morticia (Team Banzai; 'Mech named "Lurch")
- Paula "Lady Death" Trevaline ("Pirate Queen of the Tortunga Dominion" and "Dame Murderess Extraordinaire")
- Theodore Kurita (heir to the Coordinator of the Draconis Combine; started his career in a restored Orion named "Revenant")
- Alexandr Kerensky (last commanding-general of the original SLDF; used a special variant)
EDIT: fixed variant links, to go to the correct 'Mechs...

Do the Dev that add new Mechs into the game have a dedicated team for that, or are they multitask-ers?
One mech pr. month, the next mech is the Highlander, after which, if things continue like they have, we'll see the Orion, then Flea and finally Blackjack.

Highlander was done after the Jagermech, but was kept in hiding like the current batch of mechs for "marketting reasons".
Problem was, someone screwed up and the pictures that were supposed to be released with PCGamer were leaked a good few weeks sooner. To diver the community's attention away from it, they simply released Flea to keep us busy at least until the day that magazine was released.

Hands down, the Orion was my most favorite IS Mech of Mech3. Fun times when I had to put on LRM-5s with MLs and an AC-10 (otherwise I went dual LB-10X for good measure).
I would like to go toe to toe with an Atlas in an Orion. (Not an Annihilator, quad-ACs or quad PPCs scare the crap out of me.)

How did the Highlander make it in before the Flea anyway?

IIRC, it's more that subscribers to PC Gamer have the issues mailed directly to them several weeks before the issue in question hits newsstands (with those subscribers closest to the distribution centers receiving them before those further away), so those subscribers were able to read the article - and see (and upload) the illustrations in the magazine - long before the general public got access to the magazine.
And apparently the PGI/IGP marketing department(s) overlooked that little distribution quirk...

I guess it has the low profile going for it.

Wait, this looks familiar. DC in name, Command Console, like an Atlas that got.....
Why do I feel this will get ECM available to use?

While that's a possibility, FWIW I'd be happier to see ECM go to another variant (the ON1-M, as "the recovered LosTech variant", specifically) and the Command Console get some form of ECCM capability.
(Then again, I'm also a proponent of moving the Atlas' ECM capability from the AS7-D-DC to the AS7-K for much the same reason, but that's another story...)

I agree with that. Unlike the other Atlases, the K is much more of a stay back and command type mech, unlike the DDC whose plethora of missile hardpoints allow it to be one of the best brawlers. The K's single ballistic and single missile clearly are indicative of "Long Range" setups, such as a gauss and LRM 20. With ECM and a poor brawler status, the K's existence would actually encourage ranged mechs to stay near it, too, making better use of the ECM.
