Well since this is not a flying game i won't be using my joystick something weird about using it for a game thats ground based lol, so i will be using my mouse and keyboard.

It's not that bad, actually. In MW4 you almost had to use a joystick. I'll probably just wind up using my throttle control for speed, jump jets, torso twisting, and a couple other commands with my mouse for targeting, though I'm hoping the arms will be on the mouse targeting and the body weapons on joystick targeting if we get a choice.

They need to re-release these for PC... i missed out on playing with them, my brother was lucky enough to play the game but i was away for college and had no time for such a simulator T-T

that and now they go for 600 a pop i cannot even dent my wallet for that since I HAVE BILLS to pay off...

*sigh* but at least i have some single use Joystick to use to fill the gap... makes lightweight sniping easier int he original MW series, but if i had dual connection like that... my catapult would double in efficiency ;)

my current is a well-used Logitech Extreme 3D Pro... nothing fancy and definitely not new... but I like the feel it has (or at least I'm used to it)

Thats the one I am buying. Looks to be the best deal.

Old Thrustmaster Top Gun Afterburner II to start with then I'll see how it compares to mouse and keyboard.

Saitek Cyborg Evo. Thing feels like it was born for my hand.

Not above getting a full HOTAS setup later though, once my financial situation improves.

I'll be using the X52. Not the Pro version, just the original. It is comfortable, intuitive, and the most affordable HOTAS available. A shame it looks like crap (although it fits the futuristic theme of Mechwarrior at least).

How easy is it to use the rudder for torso and stick for aiming? Thinking of geting the Cyborg 5, but if your aiming right can you still effectively torso twist left? Or it is worth getting a set of PRO Flight Rudder Pedals? Also any reason (for MWO) to go the Saitek X52 PRO over the cyborg 5? thank you.

Very good model indeed and just what we need and nothing more.

Cant find my Logitech joystick so I'll do what I did for BF3 vehicles and Skyrim, use my wired 360 controller. Assuming it gets supported.

Thinking about buying a CH stick, but don't know what model to get. Miss the Sidewinder Precision Pro and hate my sloppy, always turning to the right Logitech Extreme 3D Pro.

Well, I'm gonna dig my old no-name 6 buttons + hat joystick, or try PS2 pad.
Yet, I do believe after trying controllers I'll stick with good old mouse 'n keyboard.

I would use my Saitek x52 if I still had somewhere to put it. Until then, I'll probably pick up a smaller stick. That Saitek Cyborg looks quite pretty.

Thanks to Goodwill I have three options:
1. Typical mouse and keyboard.
2. Logitech extreme 3d pro and keyboard if necessary.
3. Dual wield with Logitech attack 3 and Logitech extreme 3d pro.

Well, my Logitech 2.4 Freedom went ****-up after 8 years, so now I'm torn between the Thrustmaster Hotas and the Saitek X52... both look like a good balance between cost and performance, though the Thrustmaster is about $30 less on Amazon.

Thoughts, anyone?

If the TM you're talking about is this one (http://www.amazon.co...38250947&sr=8-1) definitely go with the X52. The sensors on that old TM model are note nearly as nice as the X52's hall sensors.

Right now, Logitech Wingman Digital 3D - Windows 7 didn't like it, but I installed Logitech Profiler 5.10 and it works great. But I may upgrade once I get access to the Beta.

Logitech Extreme 3 D Pro most bang for the buck in the last game, the wireless model was really nice too and smoother with fast response but two less base buttons and 3 batteries drain faster than an xbox controller on a COD binge.
