Ekhem... wow
BTW. Normal programs 32bit always work good on 64 bit, drivers... usually- try!

I loved using joysticks in the olders games, but I don't have any good working one right now, and I'm not spending more than $50 on a joystick. I might get the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, for under $40 it looks decent, but I'm a bit worried about its deadzone and accuracy.

I meant to say Cyborg F.L.Y. 5. Also just realized they don't have Command Pads at Cyborg Gaming.

I too will be using my VT Controller (SB controller) but I'm a bit worried that the sticks won't be sensitive enough for the game. I noticed when using it to play MW4 that the control was very sluggish even with sensitivities maxed out. Has anyone considered modifying their's to increase the stick sensitivity?

Steel Battalion controller USB?

All original xbox controllers are USB. Remember the controller cables are actually two-parts, one is about 6" of cable with a plug on both ends and the other is the long cable coming from the controller itself that the shorter connects to and attaches to the console. This served two purposes, one of which was to reduce the chance of pulling the console off the shelf when pulling on the controller too hard and the other was to allow use with a computer. The part of the cable that plugs into the console can actually be swapped with a usb cable adaptor/modified to plug into USB. If you were to modify one just cut off the end that plugs into the console and match colour-for-colour with a usb cable (or splice a USB cable onto while retaining the original plug so you can use it with both a PC and a Xbox). I wouldn't modify the cable coming off the controller directly unless you don't plan on ever using it with an Xbox again.

Most likely keyboard and mouse here. But, if I did use one, I'd use a simple gamepad (Logitech wireless gamepad with two analog POVs)

I used an old logitech wingman extreme for MW3. I think it's still around here somewhere.

I remember having trouble setting up just so.
MW3 had a free reticle. You could aim with a mouse independant of the torso position. It was awesome. Shoot behind, Look to the side, Run Forward. I remember having trouble with the free reticle setup thought.

I used to put toroso twist on the z axis, throttle on the Y axis, and left right on the x axis. This only worked with the free reticle.
It's been so long, I can hardly remember what I used.

I'm really hoping for free reticle, but I'm guessing that's somehow not cool with mech games.

Going to need to find a noob lance.

Played through the years with my Trusty Microsoft Sidewinder Pro from 95, and loved it to death. However the Years started to take their toll on it with "Center wear", and as mine failed, I didn't find a Replacement ever since 2004... Except 2012 when MWO was more Imminent:

CH Fighterstick
CH Pro Throttle

These have been around for Ages, and even Back in the Days, these were the Most Durable products around. This time around, I will be going All-Out, so:
- Looking if I should, or if I will buy the CH Pedals as well.

- I'll see you all in the field!
