So, does that mean they lied or they're selling email addresses?
UPDATE: I checked my email address associated with this account and there is no email like the OP's, in the spam folder or otherwise.

As for how people get your supposedly 'unlisted' email..you know enough to create a dead drop and do NOT know about mass spammers and how they operate?
Wow..

I use unique addresses too but they're not always as simple as "site@domain.com" so mass spammers are not the answer. I received the original email spam and have continued to receive spam to the addresses registered here and that is long after PGI claimed no email addresses were lifted during the original incident.

Spam mailers aren't the old basic random alpha/numberic combos anymore, get with the times.

also if you do a Google search for that e-mail, i does belong to a real person, that does contain a lot of gun control "stuff". so if you are into that thing then so be it...but anyways that does seem strange that you got that kind of e-mail

You literally have no idea what you're talking about. Consolidated and minimum % verified mailing lists are the only commodity bought by bulk mailers.

He's implying that a spammer might have tried mwonline because it was detected as a search term / trending word, so they wouldn't have had to buy or steal the guy's email address.
I don't seem to have received the spam email at the moment.
