the more I test things the more I run into new bugs, but I've seen nothing but improvements since closed beta on my end.

the bugs that I'd see here and there early on are all gone, getting any bug is far less frequent and I haven't had a ctd in about 2 months.

just the perspective of one player on a mid-range spec'd laptop.

First post... Been playing since closed beta. 6 games in the past hour. 2 disconnects, 4 session failures and tons of lag spike. First time this has happened since I've been playing. This patch is all sorts of bad news.

I have noticed people dropping in games just before they die, and the game will not end when they are the last on their team to die. This can be a problem in Conquest as all eight members of the opposing team have been killed, yet they still won because of resources. They had a good 100 resources to go after their last member was defeated. Hitting tab even showed that all eight were defeated as well.

I've noticed other people doing this as well as I think they are trying to preserve their KDR. This is a cheap way to leave the game, and not very sportsman like to the people who remain in the game. A solution could be that they kill themselves, and the last person that shot them before they disconnected gets the kill. It seems to be a bit unfair for people with connection issues, and the current condition of the net coding, and other bugs, but maybe something to think about in the future.

Also, starting out facing north on both sides?

Sorry if this post seems a bit scatter brained... Sick, and tired.

I would like to give feedback on the weapon bay door indicator. I do like the feature; however, it is difficult to tell the differences between the color yellow and green. Would it be possible to change it to no-light vs solid light. And then maybe flashy light for red? Also, I know my brother is red-green color-blind, so red and green don't work for him.

Additionally, I have noticed that when in Temp or Night Mode you can't see the color lights at all.

This patch made the game incredibly more buggy, from my experience. My group used to have see 1 person in our group DC, FPS, no-HUD, no-map, or experience some sort of issue MAYBE once out of every 5 matches or so. Since the patch the other day, several of us had to completely reinstall, as the game was locking up on the loading screens, or loading in but only showing a black screen while you hear your allies walk around. We've had a TON of problems tonight trying to get our 8-mans going, because we'll get 8 people in the group, then the leader can't launch. Or someone's ready button is borked. Or someone readies up, but it doesn't do anything. We also had to re-make the group after every other drop, because someone would get auto-booted from the group, and it wouldn't actually remove him.

I can't wait for next week's patch, in spite of the Spider; this game just became a serious pain to deal with.

The game is currently unplayable for me.

In addition to the disconnects, which I never used to get (and despite not actually appearing as "Disconnected" in the game according to my friends, when I do manage to play, I will often just simply die.

I do not take weapons fire. I do not overheat. I do not fall off some high cliff. I just randomly explode. For no reason at all. For obvious reasons, this has me quite annoyed.

Another common problem is that I may appear to be in-play for a few minutes, but will be unable to fire and all mechs freeze in place. Apparently, to everyone else, I'm just standing still, despite that from my perspective, I can walk anywhere in the map.

Please fix.

This really points to your internet connection having packet loss ! drop anything wireless in regards to your network connection.

yup. i'm seeing more DC's and i never... NEVER had the 4fps bug until yesterday. only yesterday after the patch i had 3 times that bug

Not sure what you are on about but I'm guessing its this.

Even tho that ping is to a sydney server and not MWO servers, I'm just saying I've done all I can within my control to own a good connection. If your own connection is bad to your own ISP or city because of bad wiring, or a bad user end setup, no matter where the game server is you will have problems and this would be completely out of the control of any game developer. Whereas implementing Regional servers is within their control.

if this raven will not die normaly (how many armour it have on leg, 2000?) - i will shoot this cheat thing everywhere - and ravenkill is no team kill, it is balancing.....

Yea doing that will not help at all, it will just create hate and discontent. Also coming to the forum and posting threats to be a bad sportsman makes you look bad.

Just yesterday actually I saw a commando fly through the air after being annihlated from an alpha lol.

Yeah, as much as I hate getting killed in my Commando, it sure is fun to watch the interesting ways in which I die. 9-)
