make game as bugless and glitchless as possible
to see if my computer im building ( final stages should be done by saterday) can play this game on its highest settings
so me reasons for asking beta acses are both personal/ franchise realated.

here are my reasons
1.see if there will be any problems with it running on my computer (incase it may not be able to run i'll upgrade the graphics card)
2.experience the awesomeness the PGI made (gameplay fun, mechlab, etc)
3.look for annoying, bad or useful bugs or glitches and report it to devs
4.give opinions on what i think should make the game a tad bit better
5.to have my first ever beta experience
6.get used to the controls
For all of the same reasons (except reason 5).
7. I am good at finding bugs
8. I want to be the first person on my block with a confirmed mecha kill
9. I SO miss striding the earth in 90 tons of Steel, Fire, and Death

2: Get to play and learn the basics sooner
#3 is NDA dependant. If there is no NDA I'd make an attempt to stream MWO. If there was an NDA for obvious reasons I would not stream.

So, why do I want to participate in beta:
First, I want to play the game. Obvious, but very much true, no reason to hide it.
Second, I've participated several betas already, both F2P and subscription-based titles, been playing internet games for two decades now and I do honestly believe I have an idea about what may or may not break the fun/balance in the long run.
Third, I like finding bugs. Even more so when I know somebody will actually care to fix them.

To be in another Beta
To sit in the Cockipit again
To help turn out a quality product for later players
To be able to build a mech
To blast an opponent with as much firepower as I can
To crush my enemies
To watch them flee before me
To hear the lamentations of their women
To pray to Krom
.... and if Krom can't help me to hell with him

Thus, I want to participate in whatever way possible to make sure it is free of bugs, well-balanced and fun when it finally launches.
Well, a severe lack of Mechwarrior games in the last years combined with a dust-collecting G940 sitting around in my room may also play a very minor role.

I'm Canadian and so I would still probably want to play on the American server.
I love Mechwarrior and have been playing it since MW 1. I still have my side winder pro at home. There is a lot of nostalgia in it for me.

I want this game to succeed. A failure would probably mean no more Mechwarrior games in a long time if ever. Having played the series since MW2 I feel it deserves to be nothing less than great.
Basically I just want to have a good game. If it means spending some time looking for bugs and writing bug reports so be it. The beta is the best time to do this.
