Out of the 6 mentioned elsewhere, I would start with the Catapult, hopefully the K2 variant (two PPCs) is possible.

I would like to stick to the old school mechs whenever possible.
Vindicator, Centurion, Urbanmech, Rifleman, Blackjack, Archer, Catapult, and my baby, the Ostroc.
I'll be stunned if they put the unseen mechs in the game but I would dearly love to have my Ostroc to stomp around in.

BNC-3E or BNC-3S? Two incredibly different mechs built on the same chassis and sharing a name. One is, in my honest opinion, a piece of overpriced junk alla the CGR-1A1 Charger (the BNC-3E) and the other actually holds it's own decently.

Physical combat has not been confirmed yet to my knowledge, so hands on mechs seem to be more aesthetic than anything right now.

Trebuchet
from the 3025 mech manual...
Quote

The Trebuchet is a medium weight long-range fire support 'Mech. The model's top speed of 86.4 km/h allows the Trebuchet to provide fire support for most light and medium 'Mechs. The main drawback of the design is the limited number of reloads for its LRM launchers, with only enough ammunition for a sustained barrage of eighty seconds. Because of this limited amount of munitions, once the ammunition bins have run dry the 'Mech must defend itself with only its laser weapons.
[edit]Armament
The primary weapons on the Trebuchet are a pair of Zeus LRM-15 launchers. These missile launchers allow the 'Mech to act in its role of fire support very effectively. Backing these up for close range work is a trio of Magna Mk II Medium Lasers, which provide the Trebuchetwith weapons when the LRM ammunition has been depleted and also discourages lighter 'Mechs from attempting to intercept it.[3]
Buchet...Bucket
Nobody said anything about the BM or the Pult

JagerMech in the heavy if they include it [I hope they do ]
Commando/Firestarter/Raven in the light weight class.

Realistically, Archer, Thug, Centurion, or anyone of the classic trio mediums, Shadow Hawk, Griffin or Wolverine. Being a FWLer, I prefer the "laser enhanced" versions of the last three.
